  persons with disabilities need really need attention from government and NGOs. Truly, the two per cent district assemblies’ common fund for the disabled is woefully inadequate support.
  Take the deaf as example, they have challenges communicating their ill health to health workers when they access our hospitals. They need SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETERS in the health centers to facilitate communication between the deaf and the health workers.
  Government has to act with urgency to support persons with disabilities before it is too late.
