Their action amounts to Childish intimidation and abuse of power. After 57 years of growth our independence is devoid of sanity and exercise of prudence. WE ACT BEFORE WE THINK ONLY TO FIGHT THE CONSEQUENCES OF OUR FOLLY .What we are experiencing now is the accumulation of years of folly, incompetence, poor leadership, complacency and avarice. What we must do as a nation is to sit down and correct our mistakes as pointed out by those who probably see them from different lenses. It is undemocratically foolish to underplay opinions expressed even by our adversaries over some obvious shortfalls. Why do we subject our system to so much riducle ?

Why should electricity supply be a problem for Weija Water? They should try as much as possible to buy a heavy Electricity Plant to supply them power in case of power off.

If you know that you depend on power to service the people, why not buy a generator(s)that can do the job for you. You cannot blame ECG, since they have to service their equipments.
Now if it takes ECG two weeks to complete ...

Now if it takes ECG two weeks to complete their maintenance work, then there would be no water to flow. Oh my God, what a useless country. This water treatment plant was there for a looong time, why they can't see this problem?

I just retired from our city's water treatment plant. Power supply is the first priority at any water plant. Back up generators go online immediately power is lost.

After 57yrs of independence, we are being asked to store ENOUGH water. How much water is enough? Our plates and cups are already filled with water which obviously is not enough for us. Oh Ghana! who cursed us? water is a basic necessity and yet we can barely survive with what is being served us.
