Why should men decide what women should wear, simply because of men's indiscipline? The problem is men and not what women wear or do not wear. Most women are sensible enough to know what sort of miniskirt to wear, where and when to wear it.

I agree 100% with Pastor Otabil. Jesus made it clear and I will like to paraphrase it, the healthy does not need a physician. Jesus came for the sinners and not the righteous. Many unbelievers would like to come to church but the church today has set a standard (dress code)that the unbeliever may not fit in.

A drunkard once came to our church and the ushers nearly turned him away because of the smell. He became loud and later was allowed in but NO one wanted this man near him/her. Do you think this man based on the way he was treated would come back again.

Showing love for one another is the best way of evangelism and that is exactly what Pastor Otabil is saying.

It's time for Christians to understand that dressing up and going to church does not make you a Christian but showing UNCONDITIONAL love for ALL is the key.

The irony is that many of these church goers wear worse dresses during the week for various activities and pretend to be HOLY on Sundays.

May the Our Good Lord have MERCY on us ALL.

Mr. Otabil, women are our greatest enemy in these last days, they are satan's tools for our destruction. I have been struggling for a very long time now to deal with my lust but to no avail. I'm waiting for the Lord to bring me out of this pit that I find myself. Please pastor, you and your collueges who see no evil, as some pastors for the love of money already allow these short dresses and tight trousers in their churches, should not worsen our situation if you can't help redeem us.
I believe if people adhere to your advice, in the near future, true christians would so ashamed of their religion that they would hide their identity as christians.

Thinking it would give her enough slack to raise her leg, she reached back and unzipped her skirt a little. She still could not reach the step. Embarrassed, she reached back once again to unzip it a little more. Still, she couldn't reach the step. So, with her skirt zipper halfway down, she reached back and unzipped her skirt all the way. Thinking that she could get on the step now, she lifted up her leg only to realize that she still couldn't reach the step. So, seeing how embarrassed the girl was, the man standing behind her put his hands around her waist and lifted her up on to the first step of the bus. The girl turned around furiously and said, "How dare you touch my body that way, I don't even know you!" Not even when she is naked in front of you. I know there are temptations and if we can not overcome them, then we can not profess to be Christians. Unless God knows we are tempted beyond control, He will come to our rescue with His Grace. Let us first make the efforts to reject these tempations. Sometimes, lust could be a contributing factor, but that is not to say that, we are not being tempted every seconds of our lives. God bless you.

Based on this we cannot go out naked or half naked and expect God to reprimand us. As human beings, God has given us the ability to discern between good and evil, so the choice is ours to make. These days most people go to church for miracles, money , girl friends, boy friends, wives and husbands, and therefore, if any woman with these idea goes to church in miniskirt, then there is nothing wrong with it because that is the only means the purpose of going there could be achieved. But, however, if the purpose is to pray for God's protection, guidance, favor, and then to worship, then you CANNOT go to church wearing a miniskirt. Just like you cannot go to the presence of your father or parents half naked or naked, even though our nakedness is nothing to our parents, we will not feel comfortable in our nakedness before them. If you are a child you do what children do, when you grow, you do what grown ups do. Therefore, you CANNOT go to church in miniskirt for the holy spirt to work on you to change. After all, we all know God and Jesus and what they want from us as human beings, unlike those days when our forefathers and mothers didn't know God, or Jesus, and the Bible and what they teach. Even then, in those days they never went out naked or half naked. Therefore, if a pastor is asking women to go to church in miniskirt, it is absolutely wrong. The church has become a business, therefore, whatever mean it takes to maximize profit is what is done. period.
