In our wildest dreams,do we believe landlocked Ashanti region with no reliable power, roads or railway links to anywhere is ever going to rise to become an industrial hub as we being made to believe? It is very expensive ferrying goods and materials overland or air.Industries are interdependent,and suame will need other support industries to make it wor. Even the Danish ambassador doesnt believe it.

The usual Ghanaian mentality and planing where they build houses, should I say mansions with no streets leading to those mansions. No runing water or electricity to those mansions they build, Typical Ghanaian mentality and planning.

Why Suame Magazine of all places being considered as industrial complex? Is this place not congested enough? Industrial complexes I know of in the developed world are not sited within congested areas. I believe this plan is choking already. The Swedes should be bold and tell the blackman!

That is why I strongly believe that lands must be the property of the state and not chiefs. Litigation over the acquisition of the land is threatening the establishment of the industrial complex. Can't the government pass an executive instrument to take over the land and pay compensation to the owners of the land? We cannot allow litigations over land acquisitions to undermine the development of the country.

IS THE SMIDO INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX BE USED BY THE UNBSKILLED ARZTISANS AT THE SUAME MAGAZINE IN KUMASI.
