If the advice is coming from Manhyia where the party takes its roots, they need to know that it is either they sit up and take action, or they are sinking!

Stop telling lies and try speaking the truth for a change! For exaple, has God really told Akufo-Addo to contest for 2016 as he is claiming?

Nobody can hide the light and true destiny of the great nation of Akan. they use all kinds of schemes and tricks to undermine or deny a proper standard to us but we shall never surrender. we shall change and adapt as like the Israelis we are the chosen people of God and he in his great design has made us diverse but unified in spirit. the ashantis like the tribe of Judah are and will remain an integral part of our being to to attack any one part we all end up feeling it sooner or later. they have succeed in turning some of our chiefs and kings against us and work for their evil ungodly agenda but we still see clearly . God has brought us into the 21st century and with that a new system of governance and state of mind based on democracy since it is HE alone who blesses the individuals with the gift of leadership wisdom and justice irrespective of status at birth. he has shown us the blue print of the way forward in the bible and other holy books and the time has come to free ourselves from this man made bondage called Ghana. just as in the Ukraine we must fight so the truth will come out , fear not the battle as they will crumble like the walls of Jericho . cast away our so called fake leaders and politicians who are nothing but cowards and like our enemies fear even their own shadows . yes God has put a million fears in their empty bodies as he who does not fear the Lord , the Lord will ensure all fears of the world will reside in him. They threaten us with superstition , juju and what have you and we say fuck you and go to hell as the divine power is with us . Yes all the tribes of Akan are fingers on the same hands and God has ordained we remain united so our strength and light will be visible throughout the whole world and universe , our time has come . everyday its becoming clearer and clearer to all children of Akan that we must prepare mentally for a battle of freedom . they come with tricks that say we must take a non Akan as our leader because its nice ? do they not think that out of 30 million Akans we can not find sensible down to earth leaders and warriors to lead our own people to our own destiny? a govt of the people and by the people is what the 21st century democracy is all about . let them continue to play with the consensus and other figures that justify their fantasy and enable them to marginalize the participation of the Akan majority in the Affairs of their own land , to marginalize us thus preventing us to afford a better standard for our people . The had of God has given them pestilence after pestilence but they refuse to let our people go , soon they will be swept away like chaff in the hurricane of fury . Long live the republic of Akan and don't you forget it as now the Fanti speakers, Twi speakers, Ashantis and other tribes of Akan are now one .

The most important issue raised by Asantehene was that the party NPP came from was founded within his palace. Meaning that the NPP is his ancestral party and he could not have sympathies for any other party.

First of all, let me begin by admitting that l am a staunch member of the NPP in the United States. However, l oppose the Otumfuo from making statements like this, if indeed, he made them. The Ashanti King gained the respect of many when he launched his scholarship scheme to help his subjects. He is taking his image down the road if he begin delving into political matters.

I pray that a day will come when all chiefs should be banned from making political statements. The result of statements like this have fueled ethnic wars. They also creates animosity and deepen the tribal sentiments in the country, because not all Ghanaians belong to our party and in developing countries where members of different parties treat each other like enemies, it is not advisable that Otumfuo make statements that would reveal his political leanings.

In addition to the above, the King must not forget that Ghanaians are scholars. The NLM/NLP of which he mentioned was formed, as he claimed, at his palace with the object not only to fight for the rights of cocoa farmers but also to break the Ashanti region from Ghana. The story of the NLM is a bad one, because in the parochial knowledge of its formers, they failed to realize that each region contributed to the national coffers. That is the problem of Africans. Selfishness.

If today oil is being produced in the Western region to develop Ghana as a whole, is it sane for the Chiefs and people of the Western region to threaten to secede/break away from Ghana because the resources of the region are used to develop Ghana?

By aligning the palace with the National Liberation Movement/Party, the Otumfuo is indirectly aligning himself historical facts that tended to divide our country.

I do not believe that the Otumfour is telling Ghanaians that only people in NPP party have been untruthful in their dealings with Ghanaians. If his admonishing is over the disputed election petition then it would be sad indeed for, the NPP is a national party made up of all tribes in Ghana and it is their belief that they won the elections and they are entitled to that opinion which cannot be taken away from them despite the court judgement. Is the Otumfour saying the judges are infallible and their dictum a divine one? Could it be his association with the alleged bribery of the judges that Nana has decided to go on that tangent? Is it possible that every Tom, Dick and Harry in NPP hold the same view? I would have wished the Otumfour used a different occasion to address the issue not to NPPians alone but all Parties and for that matter all Ghanaians as untruthfulness in our politics is not the preserve of the NPP. Untruthfulness is a natural phenomenon in man's dealings with his fellow man ,howbeit distasteful.

It's unfortunate that ASantehene does not have his facts straight. In the first place it's not NAtional LIberation Party but NATIONAL LIBERATION MOVEMENT ( NLM) which was founded by Nana Baffuor Osei Akoto at his house. He only went to seek ASantehene's permission because he was serving as a linguist at the palace. What irks me is that he failed to mention Baffuor's name and I am surprised that Akufo Addo again attributed the origins of NPP to Danquah- Busia- Dombo tradition leaving out Baffuor's name! This is an outrage and I don't care what anybody says Baffuor started NLM with his resources and sweat. And the then Asantehene disowned Baffuor when he needed his support most. Baffuor, served Asanteman with his blood and sweat and nothing has been done for him by the current Asantehene. To add insult to injury the true genesis of NLM has been butchered. This is an outrage! Good or bad without NLM there would have been no NPP!

NPP members are fond of peddling lies and I believe it is because of this that the great king is admonishing them to trace their root and understand the party was built on truth.
