Presidential elections for voters to decide and the majority of voters decided on it so it was legalized, as at now other states in the US are considering legalizing marijuana due to the high tax revenue Colorado is making due to its patronage.In Chicago and many other states have legalized marijuana as medical which can only be prescribed by a medical doctor for it's use even CNN is on a crusade arguing for its legalization in the US.Ghanaians must be smart about this because the same people who told us it is an illegal drug are turning around and considering legalizing it.

Kweku Baako was a misfit in CPP because that party is anti-drugs. So he had to flee to like minds in NPP.

When are we going to be serious as Ghanaians. We politicise every single issue. More often than not we don't make constructive contribution to salient national issues. We insult ourselves at the least provocation as if we are from diferent contries. I charge our leaders to stem this charactor of insulting ourselves at the least opprtunity. Where is our slogan of: ONE NATION ONE PEOPLE ONE DESTINY. UNITED WE CAN MAKE IT. DEVIDED WE SHALL CONTINUE TO REMAIN LIKE THIS AND EVEN GET WORSE. Mind you the word is watching us, our children are watching us, what legacy are we leaving behind for our children? How can we continue to behave in the same old ways and expect a different result as a country. I don't mean politics please, I mean respect for one another and promotion of human dignity. There are a whole lots of strategies offered to Ghana,by God,to make a headway in our economic journey.
It looks like NDC has failed us and wants to apply a QUICK FIX to salvage the economic chaos they have succeeded in plunging GHANA in,with the PLANTATION OF MARIJUANA AND THE SALES OF IT.

THAT WILL NOT FLY.

We have to ask ourselves:
Should we make the mistake of implementing such law like this,WHAT TYPE OF WORLD WILL WE BE LEAVING FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR CHILDREN?

We always tend to compare our nation GHANA to the other world like:
USA,CANADA,BRITAIN,GERMANY,JAPAN ETC,but forgetting that we call something "DIFFERENCE".
There a host of problems we have not even tackled,let alone inviting something else to compound them.
The whole of NORTH AMERICA has UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE SYSTEM,therefore,it controls every activities of the mosquitos.
THE FILTH IS KILLING US IN GHANA,AND OTHER PARTS OF AFRICA.
This is just the tip of an iceberg.

Brothers,we have to use our brains to discern the problems that confront us,and come up with serious consideration,the kind of strategies to solve them,but not finding a short-cut means of tackling them.
What AKRASI SARPONG was suggesting the other day,will not help us,period.
There are a host of strategies that can help us better than selling MARIJUANA,just because it could be use for herbal reasons.
Our psychiatric hospitals are congested with unfortunate children.We don't have to worsen the situation.

This is one of the fine brains this country can bost of when it comes to analysis and crique of issues. It is a fact that Kweke is far better than some of us who have not smoke mijauna before and it was one of the issues used against Nana in the run up to the 2012 elections as if he is a criminal and cannot be entrusted with the runnig of the country.
Now we can all see those we described as gentle and nice in their ability to administer the affairs of the country.
It is high time citizens of this country relegate tangential issues to the background and take matters seriously otherwise we shall continue in this cycle of suffering and bad leadership of our country and other important organs of the state.
I was born in March like many others born in the same month who are gifted in many respect but we have allowed propaganda and character assasination to deprive us of the best.
The time has come for us to shine our eyes.
Very soon I will launch very serious analysis of issues for many Ghanaians to travel the same path with me.
Ghana deserves better tahn what we are all witnessing.
As a student at then School of Adminstration in Legon, I saw becoming an important patriot but bad leadership in this country is depriving our people of their inheritance.

Ghana is not the US. If in America, some states are legalizing medical marijuana, they can do it and I am sure the types of ganja they have in the US differ from the one we have in Africa. Ours is ten time stronger than what they have here. Also they have in the US different types of ganja. That is why is Africa, people who smoke marijuana behave contrary to the ordinary person. Either they are isolated, they have no friends or the worse, they become mad or crazy. In Africa till recently, people don't use hard drugs but just marijuana and 99% of them become sick and crazy. We do not have to follow the US for everything they do for we have our moral duty and responsibilities vis a vis of the future generation. What will happen in ten years if marijuana is legalized in Ghana? Do we have the means to take care of the crazy and mad people? We don't. We can't irradiate some common sicknesses, women are still dying after going through C section, people are still dying for minor surgeries such as appendix . We have to think. Yes Ghana think!
