  In UCC we were 500 students for mathematics for economists. In most cases, u do not see the lecturer, P. Acquah (may his soul rest in perfect peace), all you hear is dy/dq on the PA system. Most other courses were like that, so how can good economists be made from this?

  There are too many problems associated with large classrooms, some are poor supervision by teacher, difficulty in proper class management, inability of teacher to mark class assignments effectively, in some cases there is so much cheating by students, teachers cannot be effective in identifying weak students and provide support and too much time is spent in marking the register, spread of some skin eczemas, coughs and many more.
