When did Akans become slaves on their own land? WR must rise up against this man who gathers money from WR to the North to go and share for few northerners like Wudu Yaya and Abrahim Adams. There is a Ghanaian environmental journalists who collects these weeds for analysis, he is an expert diver as well. I met him here in the US some five years ago together with other ocean divers, apparently they had been diving in the seas in Sri Lanka and other places examining coral reeves and other marine life. I cant recollect his name though but I guess he has the expertise in these marine issues and he could easily tell what these weeds are and where they are coming from.

a full investigation environment investigation can easily be carried out by the ministry of environment or the department of marine science UG, to determine the cause of the bloom. the source of nutrients coud be from a discharge or there might be an invasion of alien species which are better adapted to the local area and have colonised the area due to lack of natural predators for instance. my fellow Ghanaians this isan environmental issue has nothing to do with politics, lets usethe knowledge we spend most of our lifetime in acquiring to solve the issue at hand. thats the only way ghana will progress not typing anything from your smart gadgets onto the internet.

Are Sea Weeds Edible? If they are edible then harvest them and use them to feed cows, goats, sheep and even chicken.

What made man a being is that he turned his biological disadvantage into an advantage. In India water hyacinth is used to feed cows, goats and sheep. When Ghana recently had hyacinth on her water bodies instead of us seizing the opportunity to use it to feed animals we were looking for ways to eradicate it chemically.
The other day I was thinking that if there is a fish that feed on grass, I mean river weeds, then why not introduce it in the Avu Lagoon and its tributaries. To be rather mourning like a person who have a thorn in the foot, let us rather see what industry we can create from this sea weeds.
