It is not like the mother left house to go to the market. Think if you are a parent do you want to be accused of negligence for leaving child in your living room to go to the toilet for some few minutes if something happen to the child?

Perhaps, these two contributors do not live in Ghana, for them to know that when electric lights go off in the night, both adults stay out in the open for sometime before the lights are turned on or they go to sleep; and people meet lights turned on with shouts of joy in jubilation.

The truth of this case as presented in this story is that the ECG acted negligently and are liable to any charges brought against them. The family of the deceased child must get a lawyer and start a process of suing the company.

Perhaps, you should know that both ECG worker and the child's mother are responsible for the death of the little child. How in the world do you leave your little child outside at the night and justify that you have done nothing wrong? Will you and other people bashing JB,leave your child outside at the night or even day time without any adult presents if you have one? We all agree that ECG should held liable and at the same time the Children service should investigate the mother and in case she acted negligently, she should face some kind of punishment to send a message to all parents that they cannot leave their children under any circumstance without at least having a 13 years old around. It's about time Ghana starts caring for it's children and hold their parents responsible to minimize the abandonment. Some parents leave their children unattended just to go have sex and other stuff but when something happens they come up with all lies. You cannot tell me that this lady couldn't have taken her two children to the house or alarmed her adult neighbor to watch her children while she left.

Go to town and you will see man-holes that they have dig without covers, some full of rush or water. When you fall into this hole you are finish. ECG and Water they are the same people.May rest in peace.
