Fellow Ghanaians, we have all been complaining about the deplorable state of the economy for sometime now and it appears the current government has taken our cries for not. In fact the more we have screamed the more lie we have been told because the government thinks they can get away with such gross mismanagement. Our parliamentarians on the other hand seem to be content with just making noise and in the end do nothing worthwhile. This nation is our motherland and the future our of the children, unlike the members of government and parliament we do not earn large amounts of money neither do we have use of public funding for personal use so I think is about time we started a petition drive to remove this government legally from their unrelenting abuse and ineffectiveness. It is time my fellow countrymen and women to all join forces in signing a petition of a vote of no confidence in the current administration and have these bunch of incompetents removed from the annals of power or we will wait till the situation gets out of hand and thus not be able to do much to resolve issues. Please stay alert for further information on how you too can make your power work for you.

I remember vividly what Haruna Fuseini the Trade Minister said during the campaign that brought this useless government in power. He said that if NDC wins, there will have no excuse but supply power and water to Ghanaians uninterrupted because there are other alternatives open to them. Yesterday, Adom FM played the tape and made a call to the Minister but interestingly, his phone line went dead for no apparent reason. These are some of the lies this man is talking about. Tell Ghanaians the true state of the nation and stop trying to twist facts.

If the government lies about the economy, the economic indicators will expose them and that is what we are seeing. Bawumia told them and he was vilified as being "petty and insincere". Who in his/her right mind will come and invest in a nation where power and water are "very scarce" like in the desert?

Sometime ago, in one of my many comments, I asked the question "is Mahama a true Ghanaian?".
I am quite sure that there might be somebody who read the comment and found my question unreasonable.
Well, if we have a seating President, who is noted for lying to Ghanaians all the time and he and his administration are corrupt to the hilt, and also, he does not care about the quality of the living standards in Ghana, the only idea you can form is that such a person is un-Ghanaian because that kind of attitude is uncharacteristic of Ghanaians. By our nature, we do not behave the way the President has so far been behaving. We do everything possible to uplift a person who is down and ameliorate the living condition of the unfortunate ones.

I wonder why people who are supposed to be well informed talk like a bunch of illiterates. Some one needs to educate my learned friend that every civilized community, and for that matter, every country has a national policy on protocol, administered by the office of the president, that receives approval and budgetary allocations from the parliament. Protocol must always have its way no matter who is in power. It is an established standard for leaders of the world, and Ghana is not different. Also, though, it is healthy to objectively critic a government, it is, also high time, we learn to respect our leaders. Mr. Rawlings, Akuffo Addo, Kuffour etc. must all must be given utmost respect, for this is OUR OWN.
