I have lived with Ghanaians in USA and Holland where they are the kinpins of ellegal clonning of credit cards and using same to buy luxury cars for shipment to Tema ports. Ghanaians are equally criminals as their Nigerian counterparts, criminal searchlight is focused more on Ghanaians particularly in the area of stealing of luxury four wheel drives everywhere in Europe and America. More than 50% of luxury cars on Ghanaian roads are stolen vehicles, lots of which interpol trace back to Ghana; retrieved and repartriated back to where it was stolen. Ghanaians are lazy lots who sort for easy route to comfotable lifestyle hence the Sakawa criminality that is very common with Ghanaian youth.

The Metropolitan Police are asking Ghana's ambassador in Tokyo to consent to questioning over a lease contract he made for a Tokyo room. The room has been used as an illegal casino.

Early in March, police arrested 10 employees of a covert casino in Tokyo's Shibuya ward on suspicion of allowing customers to play baccarat there.

They seized cash worth about 120,000 dollars. The police suspect that the proceeds may have amounted to roughly 2 million dollars over the past one and a half years.

Police found that the room used for the casino was first rented in September 2012, under the name of the then Ghanaian ambassador to Japan.

The current Ghanaian ambassador to Japan replaced his predecessor as tenant last year. The arrested employees told police that the incumbent ambassador visited the casino.

Police are working through Japan's foreign ministry to ask the ambassador to accept their interview on a voluntary basis, because he has diplomatic immunity.

Let’s fast forward to the Kufour administration that started in the year 2000. This is where I take issue with most in the NPP and those Ghanaians in the Diaspora who submit postings on this ghanaweb with credentials up to the ying yang but just as unfashionably stupid us those of us in Ghana. If there were issues with the 1992 constitution and the practices and procedures of government, then I would have expected the intellectual NPP party with all its so-called educated elite class to have tried their darn best to amend the 1992 constitution through the appropriate channels and or at the very least seek changes to existing practices of government; none of this happened.
In fact the current NPP flag-bearer Nana Akufo Addo served in the capacity of Ghana's AG, Ghana's External Affairs Minister and others under the Kufour NPP administration and did not see the gapping loop holes in the 1992 constitution and or existing practices and procedures of government. Was it not Nana Akufo-Addo’s leadership at the Ministry of External Affairs that bungled up renovation at some of our embassies? I am no finding a moral equivalency between this issue and those of the Kufour era but I find it rather disheartening when people approach serious and damning issues that tarnish the brand Ghana with their tribal and party instincts instead of wisdom and determination to bring about constructive and serious changes to government.
This issue, if true, is not John Mahama and NDC thing but events that has been happening prior to the arrival of this goat head of a new ambassador to Japan, Edmond Kofi Agbenutse Deh. Yes we are a citizenry of fools by fools; we elected the NDC and NPP into power over the past 20 years and deserve every bit of what we get.

On March 5 at 11:30 p.m., officers arrested manager Hiroyuki Yamanoi, 35, and nine other employees for providing illegal baccarat gambling inside a casino occupying the entire sixth floor of a multi-tenant building located in Dogenzaka. Two customers on the premises at the time were also taken into custody.

Officers seized two baccarat tables and 12 million yen in cash, according to public broadcaster NHK (Dec. 19)."

TV Asahi is supposed to report today Mar. 19. The event was supposed to have happened on Mar 5. All in this year 2014. But look at the last line.

Officers seized the tables on Dec 19. Which year?
