Something must be wrong with this judge...maybe he has already taken deposit of his share of the loot so he trying to play ball.

How can the procesution/state already argued its case with all facts and evidence or the lack thereof to prove that Woyome did not have a contract with the state and did not solicit any funds on behalf of the state, let alone the permission to do so....and now that the defense was called to argue their case or allegation but could already turn around and enter a "no case" ....now the judge is rather throwing the ball in the court of the prosecution to argue against Woyome's no case plea....how can that be?

The judge is supposed to look at all the evidence or the lack thereof to give his verdict....but he is rather trying to play ostrich with the entire case thinking that Ghanaians are fools...

And the sad thing is that the incompetent AG does not no what is going on or pretending not to have a clue....let's not forget that the current AG law firm was once defending this same Woyome and another company which was suing the state for the same judgment debt shenanegans...

If Woyome walks, it is going to be a BIG BLOW to Mahama and the NDC government...I will be so ashamed...

This case should have been long over with. Only in Ghana...

If it is clear that Woyome does not have a contract what is hindering the state to request the money + interest from these crooks and prison Woyome and his partners.

I don´t understand.
In Germany, Mr. Höneß, the boss of the football club Bayern Munich, was sentence 3 years and 6 months for invading tax, etc.

Why are we so doll and allow these organised criminals of lawyers, magistrates and politicians criminalize us, Ghanaians?

This should be a slam dunk case if the prosecutors are capable and know what they are doing .A motion for summary judgment by the defense following the prosecution's case is standard procedure and it basically means that the government has not met its burden of proof (no issues of material fact)and consequently the court should dismiss the case. The court would in all probability not grant the motion because there are definitely issues of material facts in this case as it relates to whether Woyome obtained the funds illegally. It should not take three weeks to write a responsive motion with the court if the prosecution knows what they are doing.

The guy confessed himself of not having any agreement with the government at the time, as well as negative responses from the bank of Austria where he is trying to seek refuge with. So not get the money back for Ghana. Check the hard conditions in the country now facing its citizens. How could the government do this. It is because you all have your dirty filthy hands in it.
