no general who has capitulated for what ever reason should be given the chance to lead and that goes for nana . we shall tell all our sympathizers to abstain and boycott the next elections as we insist on a radical leader who will never surrender . if we are ready to fight to the death then our leaders should also recognize this value and not throw in the towel , we need no cowards or schemers . it takes courage and wisdom to lead and nana lacks both. we were soo disappointed he did not take the fight to the streets and again he disappoints us by not stepping aside . the stakes are now much higher than before as if he wins it confirms that last elections were rigged and should have continued the fight , if he looses if confirms he led the whole country on a jolly ride for his own selfish power hungry agenda . its a loose loose situation with no respect or dignity . nana has outmaneuvered himself into pepeni's hands and for the first time in 2 years pepeni is actually celebrating as any political analysis can see nana has shot in himself not only in one leg but both . he thinks he has a well marketed name and is well known so stands a better chance than any other candidate and because pepeni's govt due to northern tribalism is weak but he forgets the Akan are industrious hardworking people so with or without pepeni before the end of the year things will start getting better as the Akan have now reorganized their business away from the influence of politics . in short pepeni will start seeing successes and as usual will lie and attribute them to his govt . the business minded have rallied around and are doing things for the people despite the corruption in the system . the corrupt ones are now even becoming more reasonable and not asking for payment in advance so the business works out although the amounts they want have increased enormously . pepeni will succeed and will get a second mandate as he realizing his mistake is focusing more on the competent ones and more sustainable projects that help retain the wealth of the nation with the people . nana forgets the majority of the people now know only a Ghana with jj and the ndc so are conditioned to matter what if there are 2 evils to go for the evil they already know . this time pepeni will get 70% of the vote as many will not even bother with the exercise , there is nothing new

Remember, Akufo Addo also got votes in all the other 8 1/2 regions, but Mahama got the majority of the votes in those regions. So Afari Gyan did not err.

The Presidential race is not about Regions but about individual Ghanaian votes, unless he is talking about MP's, which of course Akuffo Addo has no control of because the MPs pay their own bribes to individuals and chiefs in their own constituencies. That money comes from individual pockets and not from the NPP party. Without doubt the NPP has the smartest people in Ghana but they lack the criminal knowledge that's essential to win elections in Ghana. The NDC runs supreme in that aspect of the game.

If Nana Addo was able to pull 47% out of 1.5% as against Mahama NDC's 51% from 8.5%, then this a cool chop for Nana Addo and the NPP. Apraku this propaganda could not work, and in any case what NPP should be working for is to try to win the trust of Ghanaians by exposing the weapons of propaganda within the NDC that the good people of Ghana will know them before 2016. If you don't understand what Okro Mouth said, let me illustrate for you. Whoever wins the presidential elections must win the majority of total votes across the country. The Ashanti Region alone is bigger than three Northern regions combined. So, if someone wins massively in Ashanti plus another region, he could win the national elections. Indeed, Ben Ephson has recently made the point that but for voter apathy in the Ashanti Region, Nana Addo could have won the elections. Moreover, the Ashanti Region is very different from say the Volta Region in being very cosmopolitan. One cannot therefore say that all those who vote for the NPP in the region are Ashantis.

And if Nana could make insulting statements against his President and refuse to render apology, then there is no way he will ever respect anybody in Ghana; and so he does not deserve their votes.

I however, hold the view that the man is a POLITICAL SPENT FORCE who is trying to bulldoze his way to the presidency without necessarily having any antidote to the country's problems. Akufo-Addo has so far not convinced me with his campaign messags that he is the POLITICAL MESSIAH fis or this country and its numerous problems. One thing which is clear is that Akufo-Addo is desperately trying to fulfill his long cherish dream of becoming the president of this country at all cost.

Akufo-Addo's desire to become the president is to satisfy his own ego but not to SERVE the masses.Who gave him the name NANA? Even Though he is not yet the president of the country, he wants to portray himself as such. I strongly believe that his strong desire to become the president of this country at all cost does not only pose a threat to NPP's 2016 electoral victory but also the future stability of the country.

And who say Akufo-Addo is incorruptible? After all he is not a FATHER CHRISTMAS. When he becomes the president, he would take the opportunity to retire the huge debt he incurred in his previous but unsuccessful attempts to become the president.With the lid completely blown out of the "JUDGMENT DEBT CONNECTION", who knows there would be "SOMETHING-SOMETHING LEVY CONNECTION" which would eventually end up in private pockets?

The strong desire of becoming a president even at age 73 does not suggest a man who has something so magical under his sleeve to salvage a country bedeviled with a mountain of problems. The post-consciousness of Akufo-Addo indeed, poses a great threat to the whole nation and not only a party.

Members of a party who feels Akufo-Addo is indispensable can SCRAMBLE for him to be chosen as their party's flag-bearer, that is their own CUP OF TEA. But God willing, we live to see.

Ghanaians are looking for a well composed, united, competent, visionary, focused, mentally astute and knowledgeable team which can rescue the country from the quagmire of retrogression and stagnation, and hell-bound administration of the NDC gov't, and again, only the NPP can be a threat to it's mandate in 2016.
NPP needs to keep the process of selecting their candidates clean, respectful, devoid of insults, and purpose it in their minds that, whether it is Alan Kyeremanten, Akufo Addo, Apraku, Isaac Osei, Arthur Kennedy or whoever, united and committed to the selfless cause of addressing the numerous crisis the NDC gov't has plunged the nation, the stronger we stand.
It is team work and within the fold of the NPP, there are quiet a huge number of hands capable of performing far better than what the NDC gov't has to offer Ghanaians by the Mahama/Amissah Arthur NDC gov't. NPP should not fail Ghanaians not at this time, when Ghanaians are wallowing in the pits of hardships and despondency. NPP get your act together, look at the competition, judge your strengths, look at your weaknesses and may the best candidate whom the masses trust, not just NPP delegates, but the citizenry, to address the crisis inflicted on Ghana by the Mahama NDC gov't, win!!!.

Do the NPP delegates and Ghanaians in general see Apraku, or any of the yet to be officially announced contestants, as one who can win the primaries and increase NPP's chances in 2016? The answers to these questions and others in the public domain backed by facts, and serious analysis should inform the direction of the debate, as to who better fits the bill, to win victory for the NPP and Ghana in 2016.
The analysis should be informed by facts and supported by the evidence, instead of the insults and emotionalism.

Younger aspirants should prep themselves for 2020.Nana Akuffo Addo is likely to lead the NPP in the next elections TO A RESOUNDING DEFEAT and there is not much anyone can do anything about it. I say this because the same dysfunctional NPP leadership structure which led the NPP to defeat during the last two elections is still intact. This means that the fundamental changes needed to put NPP on a winning footing have never been carried out. Of course the biggest risk to NPP is that they suffer such a crushing defeat at the next election that apathy and indifference sets in and members desert the party in droves.
