NDC did its best but all the necesary documents cannot be traced and the people of Yendi went back to vote for NPP, the same people who caused their king's death. Will this ever happen in any Ashanti town? No. Look at Ashanti region and NDC when it comes to elections but people of Yendi have allowed the NPP to go scotfree. I will wish the children go back to 1970 when Busia was prime minister and they destooled all the kings who supported Kwame Nkrumah but Ya-Na because they could not at the time. The 2002 killing was a business unfinished by the UP/NPP. How come the NPP government did not arrest the guy who was holding the decapitated head of the king with a response that he found it? Is this not just a disgrace to the nation and the people of Yendi to allow these same people to use you for their political gain? I hope the children stop their uneccesary noise and use proper channel to redress the situation. The Asantehne committee could not do anything because it was NPP and Kuffour in government when it happened. Do you expect him to betray Kuffour and NPP? No. Wise up, Ya-Na's children. It breaks our heart but you have to use the appropriate channel.

What about you coming up with the credible evidence you have. I believe if NDC had any credible evidence they would want to use it fulfill their campaign promise. As it turned out, all their noise about having a video recording of the incident and all were only meant to deceive you...and they succeeded greatly at that.

Rawlings who said he had incontrovertible evidence of the killers is still alive and yet you are pretending not to know where to go for the resolution of the matter. When you allowed Rawlings to shed crocodile tears on stage at Tamale in 2008, with the promise that when NDC was voted to power, he would give the evidence to them to prosecute the offenders. Why are you not asking him for the evidence so that the NDC government could use the evidence to prosecute the offenders?.Why should you now come and waste our ears. There is nobody who is against the arrest and prosecution of the true killers of Ya Na so far as we do not round up innocent people, extract false confessions from them through psychological and physical torture, and parade them through our streets before sending them to court. Remember everybody deserves some justice even as we proceed to seek justice for Ya Na.
In all these years instead of allowing cool heads to reign so that proper investigations could be carried out and the perpetrators arrested and prosecuted, you rather sold such a painful episode to the political market place.The NDC bought it for free and maximized it for their political gains. The NDc said in their manifesto that they will find and prosecute the offenders and you jumped at it like flies jumping on a rotten piece of meat. After 5 years, you have now realized that you have sold your souls for nothing but cheap propaganda. After extracting the full political juice out of the matter now it does not even appear in other matters of the NDC agenda.

Ghanaians are also very tired of you.We cannot continue to support an issue where the main players are not ready to reason with their heads to seek a resolution. Be bold and go to Rawlings for the evidence he promised and stop disturbing our peace.

It is very sad the way things are going in respect of Ya Na's murder case. It seems to me this case will end like the cold war. Even though the case of Ya Na was complicated and intertwine with so many issues that makes it difficult for us people afar to really comprehends the authenticity of the issue on ground, it is absolutely inhumane to note that the late Ya Na and 40 others have been denied justice. Seeking justice in the face of the law is the right thing to do and I commend Ya Na's family for that and wish they will still have the patient. Some times justice delay for a good course and in the face of justice nothing is too late. Ya Na's case I said is very complicated and the government might even be finding it difficult to understand. One thing I know for sure is that Ashantehene played a role in ensuring peace in Ya Na's case and I know he is knowledgeable of the conflict that exist between the Andanis and the Abudus. Some times Ashantehene can be of a better help in ensuring justice in a peaceful environment than the government that might escalate things if care is not taking. We pray for justice but we want it in a peaceful environment. God Bless Ghana.
