During the heat of the 2012 election campaign, a young man aged 32 then, falsely accused Nana Addo of urinating by a mosque. The news was extensively used as a propaganda instrument to create a wedge between Nana Addo and the Muslim community. The denials that came from the NPP and the Paramount chief who Nana Addo had paid a visit, did not come to much.
Just before the election in December, the young man was reported to have died of urinal retention infection. Strange, but it happened.

Remember he lost twice to Kufuor in 2000, once to president Kufuor in 2004 and once to Nana Addo in 2008-the first round of the vote. What about that? Why do you mourn more than the bereaved. The world has seen presidents in their 70s and 80s. Reagan was 70 when he first became presindent and even had a second term at 74. India has had Prime Ministers in their eighties. Ghanaians by nature always look outside of a person and pronounce their mental capabilities which is very sad indeed. A communicator of the governing body to come out with such comments is complete absurd. This human of a cow sense who had been drinking mud-water in his area in his youthful days is sick in his brains. Simple put, this senseless Haruna's knowledge is just centered around where he hails from and do not want to read to broaden his mind. Like two contributors - Frank and Ama pointed out that 32nd President of USA - F. Roosevelt was in wheelchair yet he was elected by American electorates.

Let this fool of person learn that responsible voters do not vote by region, district, tribe, ethnic and paty affiliation but representatives who will listen to them and work for their total benefit when that individual is elected. No wonder, Dr. Kwabena Agyei (NDC Chairman) said recently that, NDC have voters who will always vote for NDC regardless what. I will prefer an old but intelligent and smart president who can rescue our dear nation than a young foolish president who will only loot our resources to chase women and give birth like "dabodabo" We need brains to govern not a debate on who is young and who is old. Rashid is a big disgrace to our Northern brothers.
