When George stole the election results in his brother's state, Florida, the repercussion is being felt all over the world after 8 years of his presidency. NDC will wreck the nation for us. I'm more concerned about the dollar being in circulation for high level transactions in Ghana.

The US has a Fed that can stimulate its economy with over $750 billion to create jobs and reduce unemployment. Ghana's central bank could only put forth $20 million dollars to rescue the cedi. You mean just $20 million? That is money for one small currency trader in New York or London!

This is the assessment from Fitch:

Ghana's fiscal position has worsened further over the past six months. Revenue underperformance and intractable expenditure on wages and interest led to a budget deficit of 10.8% of GDP in 2013, wider than the government's target of 9%.

This, combined with a sharp 20% depreciation of the exchange rate, caused government debt to rise to 61.8% of GDP in 2013 from 48.9% in 2012
