That is a well observed and pronounced statement by JJ.

Most Africans (Ghanians, in particular) fear their gods and deities more than ALMIGHTY GOD simply because GOD does not punish His offending children at once as is the case with the deities.

In His overflowing and everlasting love and mercy for mankind whom He created in His own likeness, GOD FORGIVES His children their sins and gives them another chance to change for the better. He is deeply in love for mankind, more than any of His creation.

This is not so with the deities because they did not create mankind and do not have that 'parental love' for any human. So one offends them at one's own risk.

This penchant for 'quick action' by the deities is what makes them attractive to Africans, who, it is evident from other departments of their lives, have little ability to wait for anything. So when an African wants to be rich, he runs to a deity and overnight he becomes rich. Similarly, when he is offended by another, he runs to a deity and get his offender killed and have something bad to happen to him.

In this, at least 90% of Africans (including Christians and Muslims)believe in and practice it.

The Kuffuor led Maladroit government promised the world of a new Ghana cedi will gain value when pegged with the dollar, what we have now is not what was promised.Nothing was put in place by this illiterate Bawumia and his Kookoase economic gurus to sustain the parity of the cedi with other major currency.

When you do monetization, it means you have deliberately pegged your currency to the major ones with the hope that it's value will cope or improve.

Having this, we expected the BOP to improve through prudent economic policies but Bawumia's Dagati economic policies coupled with that of Koookoase bush meat economics only saw more importation of rice from india when Ghana could have invested in agriculture to produce own rice.And so, Bawumia should not think Ghanaians are illiterate as he is.

At this stage of our economic development, the only way is to borrow but invest the borrowing wisely into productive activities such as what the current government is doing.

That said, Bawumia should stop his Dagati economics as these days even the Kookoase opposition npp MP's are well awake.

I am no economist but I do remember that during the re-denomination of the cedi by Bawumia and co. they made us understand that the value of the cedi was 'the same'; meaning if before the re-denomination 10,000 old Cedis bought a tin of Ideal milk, the price of that item will remain the same but only be quoted as Ghana One Cedi. It was only that four (4) of the 0s in the old 10,000 cedis was done away with. Bawumia and co. never promised, that the new Ghana cedi will 'gain value'.

Again, in Kola's attempt to play the tribal game, he goes wrong big as Bawumia is not a Dagati. But what, if he were a Dagarti?

Unfortunately, Women and Blackmen did not participate in organinzing and assembling the Bible. And these two groups are the people that the Bible is not favorable to.

I doubt the Great God who made man in his own image and likeness will allow part of himself to be condemned to slavery, which the Bible preaches.

Let's look at 1st Peter 2:18 "Slaves, in reverent fear of God, submit yourselves to your masters." 1 Corinthians 14:34 "Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says."

Traditional religious practices are seen as evil because they strike fear in people due to fear of the unknown. There is real power here which can be used for good, ill or both.

But...this is our own.

Every religion on earth comes from the culture of the people who created it; and so it must be. You can never fully understand any religion, feel it, and understand it if it does not come from your culture. A foreign religion and your soul will never mix properly. And that foreign religion is a useless burden on your shoulders.

Someone else's god, or a god from another culture will never accept and protect you because that foreign god does not know you, and does not care about you. A god only knows, cares about, serves and protects its own subjects who "created" him. Gods have no time for strangers; they have time only for their own people. Gods have no respect for foreigners who are not intellingent enough to create their own gods. This is the main reason why Europeans, Moslems and Asians have no respect for Africans at all. We only worship their gods and adopt their names.

We have not centralized our culture-based vuduism; we do not have our own organized religion; we have not built central places of worship; we have not formed congregations; we have not written down any liturgies; we have not written down any songs of worship. We copy, know and memorize other people's religious formulae but have no time to develop our own indegenous vuduism.
