  We know the use of a toilet paper and that what our constitution is. How do we allow a constitution which centers around a single individual guard the entire nation? The current constitution is a cloth that covers only "Rawshit JJ Rawlings." At times, I do not understand why the so-called elite who were summons to write the constitution, did not protest that the contents in the law of the land, is not appropriate and should be broad base?
  
  What the meaning of the indemnity Clause in the useless constitution? We are a nation of 25 million people and everything we do should or say etc must be of the benefit of the entire population.

  I am very,very,very,very,very sorry that Ghanaians and their so call experts cannot not see, realize, think fathom, dream, smell, and feel that our 1992 constitution is the cause of all our woes, our dilemma,our troubles, lack of development, corruption, looting of our money, and misrule. This military democratic dictatorial constitution which gives all powers to the president and his few henchmen has borne fruits to all our woes in the country. It has given all the powers unchallenged to one person and a few of his selected henchmen, and guides them to do what ever they want to do unchallenged. All that is left for the populace to do is criticize them but such criticisms don't even get in touch with even the coats they wear and to get to their skin. I wonder why President Kuffour didn't see it. why Mills didn't see it and why Mahama is continuing to rule with such a dictatorial and undemocratic constitution. I know. POWER SWEET so they all pretended to be blind. This has resulted in public insults, desperation, and disappointment among Ghanaians leaving the country to what it is today. I pray that this would not be a nine day wonder. May God give Mr. Nduom all the knowledge, experience, and the strength to embark on such a journey. It is only by this route that Ghana can find its lost glory and right approach to develop. AMEN

  A "consultative assembly" was set up by the PNDC military dictatorship, not a constituent assembly. A Committee of Experts was appointed by the PNDC to write the proposals for the 1992 constitution, Chaired by SKB Asante. Ndoum should be factual before making the statement, "A well-orchestrated Constituent Assembly with representatives from all corners of Ghanaian society sat and debated a script meant to convince the military dictator to hand over power." There were municipal assembly representatives who were appointed by the PNDC, members of the National Association of Committees for the Defense of the Revolution [PNDC], and a few representatives of the people. The people had no power to write proposals or to decide what would go into the 1992 constitution. In fact, the PNDC had no mandate from the people to appoint the consultative assembly or the committee of experts. After the appointed body drafted the constitution it was given to the PNDC, who had the final authority on what would go inside, before it was signed by Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings as Chairman of the PNDC. He indemnified himself and the NLC which illegally overthrew Kwame Nkrumah and the CPP and indemnified all illegal military dictatorships in the history of Ghana. Ndoum needs to stop with his forked toungue.

  Really the 1992 Constitution needs review, the corruption in governments will never end with this type of judicial system we have in Ghana, where by the chief Justice and other supreme court justices are appointed by the president. We need independence judiciary with the approval of parliament whereby the chief justice and other supreme court justices could be removed only through impeachment, and not be appointed by incoming presidents to prevent their (Presidents)influence so they can do a good job and hold them to account for their corrupt actions.
