If we have a government like what we have in ghana now who wouldnt explain policies to the people instead asking them to pay money, what will you do if you were the one asked to pay money without explaination.
People of Asante region has every right to
know what the government is doing in the region.
NHIS scheme should be explain to the people telling them and them understanding they have to pay for the insurance every year whether they have been treated or not.
People in that region thinks NHIS is paid only once in a live time. No, its the duty of the government to explain to the people that it a yearly payment everybody has to pay.

Is it not true that people have already lost confidence in corporate Ghana? Thanks to our useless university graduates in authority.This is what happens when justice is not seen to be done. I hope Justice Atuguba, the CJ and the useless SC judges trained by our useless universities are reading this. Who ever thinks the Akans in Ghana are not fully armed is a fool. You remember how Rawlings packed the army with his boys before leaving office and how he was always barking at Kufuor during the latter's reign. This prompted Kufuor to purchase a lot of sophisticated arms( including a number of anti-aircraft batteries) from abroad with a view of countering any insurgency that might crop up and as I speak, most of the ammunition cannot be traced to the military barracks. This is what prompted Rawlings to exclaim that there is arms cache in Ghana during Kufuor's reign. Should in case there is an outbreak of war I don't think the current NDC government will get the where withal to mobilize and engage in effective warfare. The Akans, on the other hand, have enough resources to attract both mercenaries and arms supplies to their fold. This is what makes the situation more dangerous if things go out of hand. This is why the current NDC government must do everything to avoid anything that will plunge this country into chaos by pushing for a clean electoral reforms. I wish to state here that the problem of Ghana is not about NDC or NPP. Neither is it about Akans vs Ewes. The problem is about the kind of useless university graduates taking poor quality decisions for mother Ghana. Is it Dr Sule 'Useless' Garba, the good for nothing policy analyst, who advised government not to go for electoral reforms or what? May God help Mother Ghana.

I personally in bed with Wontumi for his comment on the capitation policy of the NHIS. It has been three years now since the outrageous policy was introduced in the region,though the programme was intended for six months.In reality ,for a pilot programme is usually done in a smaller area and if successful,it is spread into a much wider area. The capitation was merely to punish the people of the region for their loyalty to the NPP it,s either rolled nationwide or abrogated in the Ashanti region period.
