I was in Ghana in September of last year and had the misfortune of witnessing the dispicable conditions of the maternity wards at Korle Bu hospital;where newley born babies had to share a foam mattress with their mothers on the floor; Fathers being asked to provide satches of water to bathe the newborn,mothers remaining unwashed for hours after delivery.!!!
This isnt the Ghana Kwame Nkrumah helped to build.No wonder we have decided to have our children overseas.
We will return one day to die in this hell-hole with uncovered gutters and smelly part of the continent.
