How can we have oil, gold, cocoa, timber, bauxite, manganese, rubber more natural resources than most countries and still we cannot manage what we have enough to benefit our country and people.

We do not have enough electricity to power our own country or even efficiently produce our goods.

The one thing which we have practiced over the years and perfected is how to go 'cap in hand' for bail outs....SMH

Did any fiscal disciplinarian take into consideration the price tag of his trip accompanied by such huge entourage of do-nothings in his determination to find areas to conserve even as we grope in ignorant search for means to heal our ailing economy?

The last time I checked hotel rooms in Manhattan run in hundreds of dollars per night. Meanwhile electricity supply is at halt in Teshie and surrounding areas.

We are going to borrow again and the NDC will use it to campaign again, and we shall go broke and go and borrow again. These people are going to be schooled about how to manage the economy. What a SHAME, Ghana. We are a pathetic bunch of people. After 57 years of Independence, and with so many resources we cannot manage anything in the country. Why don't we invite the our colonial masters to come back and teach us how to do it better? With all these allowances for all these officials in government how can we survive on this revenue collected? I feel like crying. Please God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost do help us as a nation, for we have failed ourselves, and our future children. Thanks for the space.
