i dont see the Europeans offering the other benefits such as the freedom of movement and insisting on visa free entry into their countries. they are not offering half a trillion for infrastructural development and real assistance in bettering the standard of the people of west Africa . this is a war that will destroy any chances of self reliance and self development . see what they have done to our poultry , fish and beef industry . until we have people who understand the issues and the true hidden agendas and dangers of such a one sided agreement where the benefits are only for the Europeans we should not engage in any such devastating experiments . EPA is being pushed now because they are aware pepeni is an illigimate president , even now the video of the murder of atta mills is being circulted in private circles and one day soon he will be overthrown so he is rushing to put another yoke and burden on the people of Akan. this govt can only borrow and can not even secure investments of 30 billion dollars how do they expect to handle a multitrillion agreement which in reality denies your own people the right to develop their own industry. our industrial base is less than 3% by the way. lets not allow this foolishness to pass , its time for a revolution so we restart the future for our children. we shall never surrender

Ghanaians are habitually comparing our plight to other countries without ever looking at our problems square in the face and seeking solutions for them. Tell a Ghanaian we are hungry and he/she will tell you the people in TOGO are more hungry than us.
Ghanaians has a culture of never accepting the fact that we are Lazy and it is time we show LOVE to mother Ghana by working hard to rebuild her instead of raping her through corruption and other vices.

The architect and promoter of social inclusive farming, a new farming business model being championed in the Western Region, Issa Ouedraogo, has appealed to politicians in the country to stop embarrassing Ghana.

The 2013 Best Farmer in the Western Region, who has worked with various international organisations, including the United Nations, Africa Development Bank (AfDB), German Telecommunication, Saudi Telecommunication, and subsequently the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC), said politicians should stop using the Asian tigers, particularly Malaysia, as an example when discussing the underdevelopment of the country, because it was embarrassing.

He was speaking on major challenges confronting agriculture in Ghana.

“If I were a politician, I would be embarrassed using the Malaysia example. It is not only annoying, but insulting to always claim that Malaysia got its first palm seeds from Ghana. What have we been doing all these while?” he asked.

The Chief Executive Officer of B-BOVID Limited, an agrarian company established in the Western Region that is currently engaged in almost everything agriculture, Mr. Ouedraogo, pointed out that the agricultural sector has the potential to unlock the country’s development.

He said anytime the issue of agriculture was mentioned in the media, politicians quickly jumped to mention Malaysia, explaining that they came to Ghana to pick their first palm seedlings, and when they applied it well, eventually they became the world’s highest producer of the commodity.

He said the nation cannot be talking about sustainable agriculture without changing its ways of doing things.

Mr. Ouedraogo, who won the United Nations Social Inclusive Business (SIBA) award within two years after he introduced the social inclusive agricultural model in the Western Region, said many of the policies being introduced for poverty reduction in the country was rather worsening the plight of the poor.

Mr Ouedrago, I beg to deffer from your point of wiews, for as long as it is embarrassment to you, so as we as Ghanaians must self actualise our capabilities to embrace our potentials to transform them into fruition.You must think over this matter seriously without partisan views.Dr Kwame Nkrumah introduced the palm plantation in his own home land,unfurtunately, after his demise, his kinsmen,instead of them to take advantage of this wanderful property, {if you like},bequithed to them indirectly,they all left Insema-Ahanta land and troopped to find green pastures in the urban centers and forgot about this red oil industry in the bush, if even succeeding Governments had no interest in the development of this palm oil industry.This matter hurts individaul Ghanaians, hence,it is being mentioned every now and again, and for that reason my candid oppinoin is that,it is not still late,one person can make the difference in a society,and just as you have begun doing something in the Region so as you can impress upon the Government to turn its business eyes on this project to become a big Red oil industry in Ghana to out class Malasia in the supply of the Red oil to the industrialised world to curb the teeming unemployment situation in the country.A popular Ghanaian adage states that,the blacksmith hits hard with the anvil where it is very neccessary to him in the manufacture of a hoe.
