I lost my old driving license and the DVLA officials weren't interested in tracing my file. So I decided to get a new one. I wrote the exams twice and failed both times though I felt otherwise. I felt frustrated whiles leaving their office when someone hinted to me if a needed a new license that same day. I asked how much and the guy quoted $100 or its equivalent in cedis. Thought about it for a moment and said why not. I paid the guy, I was called in the office after half an hour, my picture was taken and voilà my new license was ready in an hour. Then it occurred to me, they deliberately fail you so you can pay the bribe for one. This was confirmed to me by some one who worked there later on.

Why should this movie be under the distinguished patronage of the President who cannot put corrupt and criminal operatives behind bars be invited. Let this video be made public to avoid doubt, if not it should not be aired or viewed at all.

Kwasea a disabled person should prove that they can drive read carefully what he has written and you will know he is not agaianst the disable person driving but the fact the law is not applied.

Where does this money go and may I know if the garage is part of the road? Kalabule. DVLA is the second most corrupt ministry in Ghana: next to the police.

Bottom line is that the big men all benefit from what the small ones take from the public, if you think that it is only the police that is corrupt you better think again. Our system makes every body corrupt,from the teacher in the classroom taking money for extra classes when the child was sent to the school to learn,which has been paid for to the magistrate who takes from both complainant and accused, to the policeman on the road,who takes anything that is given. Ghana is turning everybody to be corrupt.Maybe the Parliamentarians must make a law endorsing CORRUPTION. They are more corrupt than DVLA anyway.

Is it negligence on the part of the DVLA to inform car owners of this provision or it is rather the car owner who did not find out how he should handle his parked car. This could have been easier if simple and necessary info are available.

There are disabled people who are better educated and can think better thana him. What does he mean by the word EVEN DISABLE PEOPLE. Oh Ghana have a little respect for disable people. I have never read such a useless report like this in my life. Anas should know that he can easily become disable one day through no fault of his and if it happens that way will he stop driving if he can do so. What sort of irresponsible journalism is this. He should better respect disabled as true Ghanaian with equal rights like him. If he is reporting about wrong doings in that organization, fair enough. But he should not use derogatory remarks against innocent disable people. ANAS SHOULD COME AGAIN. SHAME UNTO YOU.

I wonder if most people who come to this forum read Judge Appau's comments recently about judgement debt issues. Illiteracy is killing us because as Akadu Mensema once said here that "some people come here to write because they have computers". What has this got to do with the president or the NDC instead of the public servants and the institution involved. It is shameful for people to write anything without considering that it is a public place where anybody can read making us a bunch of useless people just writing. Can't we reason for once and stop this unnecessary politics? This behaviour allow the suspects involved to go scotfree and continue to do them again. Arrest and jail them.

This is the reason no one is supervising or auditing. I wonder what John Mahama is invited to come and do when his office is the most corrupt. Those at the DVLA probably take a few tens or hundreds of Ghana cedis; those who should have been supervising rake in millions. Not that any one is less of an evil than the other but any documentary about corruption should start from the presidency. How come Merchant Bank was sold at the lowest bid. The answer is as straight as a light beam - Mahama wants to write off his brother's debt to the bank. The lowest bidders agreed to buy the bank at a lower price and write off the debt. Vicky Hammah summed it up on behalf of all the corrupt politicians (those of today and yesterday) - from Jerry Rawling's PNDC through Kufuor's NPP, and both Atta Mills and Mahama's editions of the NDC. Did I mention outsiders like Konady Rawlings, PV Obeng and others? Ghana is rotten beyond repairs.
