The government simply does not have the money, check with other government contrators (big and small) and they will tell you the same story, they have not been paid even though they took loans to get the project done. If Ghana was a company it would have filed for bankrupcy by now. The government is running on "fumes" that is why it is sad to hear about daily corruption going on in the country and the size of the salary expense for workers, most of whom are "redundant".

This is like going to the market to buy stuff without any money in your pocket. Is that possible? NDC is stashing the money in anticipation of buying the voter next time.

When NPP was in power, they did an amazing job of upgrading most our roads for NDC to leave it at the mercy of disrepair. What should not exit your memory is, NDC have borrowed over $40 billion and the question is, where is the money and Mahama is promising to keep borrowing till he can win the next election.

When the government say they vote for a contract doesnt they have the money. There is no government to blame, it is the contractors who are foolish. It been have for years yet the contractors do nothing about.
No more government contracts, every public contract should be seen as the nations contract. Until contractors wake up, it will be the same talking and doing nothing.
