Ghanaians must be wise enough to know why NPP is doing all in it's power to sideline Apraku;our politics seems to love corrupt people where the nation's fund can be stolen easily under all sort of names;judgement debts included and people like Apraku will not tolerate such bullshit.He is a man of himself,he does not play hypocrisy unlike almost all the aspirant candidates and so his party executive see him as a nuisance who will stop them from wasting our scanty resources.THEY KNOW UNDER HIM THEY WOULD NOT AMASS FORTUNE THUS THEIR HOSTILITY TO HIM.
Ghanaians will yell against corruption even demonstrate against it but deep down in them they hate honest people to take charge of the nation;the culture of corruption has become part of the norms.

It is these things that deepen the factionalism in our party. I was there and I can tell you that it as very embarrassing not to introduce Dr. Apraku. Dr. Apraku like any other flagbearer hopeful is qualified to lead the party and just as the National executive elections brought surprises, the flagbearership race could also spring surprise so let's treat our leaders with the respect it deserves. Are we saying Nana was sacrosant when he challenged President Kuffuor on two occasions? We should wise up.And who said Apraku is not a leader in the party. Where were those people when he and others were championing NPPs ideals when in opposition under the treacherous regime of Rawlings. Dont forget he has been a former MP (TWICE) and a Cabinet Minister. We will go nowhere with factionalism and some of these infantile behaviours. Long Live NPP.

This is an immutable fact, quite clear to any political pundit. It would be better for him to throw his weight behind a contestant who can win in a spirit of solidarity, in pushing the NPP's common agenda of winning the 2016 elections. Dr. Apraku should not waste his resources because, he would not clinch it, and those around him would just feed off on his largesse.
