Sad though but I support it. Churches must demand it before love blinds lover bird to marry an AIDS patient only for him/her to be infected with the virus. At least if they are aware they will know how to make accommodate each other. Again at the age of wicked heart some may take advantage to infect others innocently.

In marriage, the partners have the right to know. Many people are wicked enough to hide the HIV status, knowing that it make the other party decide not to continue with the marriage.

However, I don't think it is relevant in many jobs, unless you deal with children (YES, I mean it)and work in health care.
I recommend that you demand it from aspiring parliamentarians and all politicians too.

Do you think if God had put it in Europe, there will be all this confusion? I know of some wonderful research done on coconut in the US. Do you know why they have shelved the reports? It is because if the world tends to grasp it, not Africa, but West Africa will benefit immensely. Please go to you tube and type in "weed" and you will see how an American went all out to save his daughter.

Marriage is between two consenting adults. And not three people. Which is the two main people and the church. It is therefore the responsibility of the two people who wants to marry to know each other's status before they get married. The church can only advice them to know their status first. Before, they 'JUMP THE BROOM' The church is not an enforcing body. Therefor can not enact their marriage institutional law, and enforce it on two consenting adults with sound minds who wants to spend their lives together as married folks. The church should stop playing HIV STATUS POLICE MEN. This is a health issue. Not a religious issue. The church can only advice people to know their status, first. Before they get married.

Why should demanding HIV certs discourage people from marriage. It should rather cement the marriage. Rev how would you feel if, God forbid, one of your children marries an aides infested person? Remember, HIV has no cure.

In theory, an HIV certificate would not completely rule out HIV/AIDS. Sometimes it could take 5-15 years before the virus could be detected in the body.
