  So this writer thinks IMF is a better option? We should ask ourselves/politicians this question: Why is Ghana always/frequently getting into this state? Our greedy politicians are to blame 100%. They over feed themselves and create economic hardship for the ordinary Ghanaian who got them into position. If these politicians and all prospective politicians don't change their attitude towards nation building this problem will continue to live with us.

  The Finance Minister is gradually pushing NDC into opposition but the president is refusing to act. We are all waiting for the pay back time by Ghanaian electorate who are wallowing in excruciating poverty and hardships

Today the IMF is even disowning the structural adjustment programs they told us to implement since the 80's and you still think they have brains to help you. Fiifi Kwetey, Moses Asaga and Kwesi Botway n are the WRONG PEOPLE to consult because all of them believe in economic individualism which they practicalized in the Rawlings era leading to Ghana's bankruptcy in 2000. The national economic forum is vital to bring the proper ideas to propel this country forward

  Ghana is irredeemably bound to and conscripted to a downward trajectory of non-growth because, that is the competencies of the NDC gov't, until the masses wake up to the realities of the situation and take a bold, collective action, to stem the tide of retrogression. The National forum on the economy is a very useless exercise, since the characters who are at the helm of affairs, lack the requisite competence and ability to deliver on any front, and these are the facts. The voodoo economics where propaganda and a very profound sense of a serious lack of understanding of the economic metrics and fundamentals underlying the economy and finances, were what led to those supposed single digit inflation, supposed relative strong cedi, supposed low interest rate etc, etc, which the writer, shallowly referred to, when expert knowledge all pointed to the contrary.
  Now, if Ghana has such a team with a very strong penchant for looting and thievery as evidenced by the numerous fraudulent judgment debts, outright plundering of the national kitty with the loss of over close to $5billion dollars, buttressed by such ineptness, a national economy would and cannot stay the growth trajectory of the country, which is headed anywhere but south.
  The only logical way out is to send such incompetent and looting brigands out at the ballot box, and not to engage in pussyfooting.
