the problem with this northern mentality is that thanks to jj they now all have an unquenchable thirst for power but never to serve in a team or accept their fellow countrymen . just look around in Accra and study the majority of the businesses owned by these northerners and in the majority of the medium and Small sized businesses you notice they only employ their fellow northerners and practically never employ an Akan . Today in Accra the largest religious building in the country will be the mosque being build on our national park at Nima donated by Turkey confirming the Islamic domination of Ghana. Tribalism mixed with chauvinism and despotism from the north has now equaled the hegemony of the ewes . A.C.C.R.A any criminal can roam about so we have them everywhere now . even at the scholarship secretariat hardly ever is an Akan awarded the privilege to go abroad and study now . The Akans are the majority but because most continue to sleep or blindly trust the other tribes these atrocities are taking place . We look at the political strategy of the NDC and see the typical Hannibal wench when he turned the strengths of the mighty Roman army against themselves as they are doing to the Akans . From the south they use part of the Fantis and from the North the Brongs , from behind we have the chariot onslaught of the Gas Ewes Krobos. Yes the political landscape reflects a war which is only meant to destroy the right of self governance of the God's chosen nation of Africa the Akan . For them its a big deal who leads the NPP but we really don't care as our movement grows stronger by the hour as more and more Akans wake up to reality of this dire situation . We did not ask for this war but we will fight it and be victorious as God is with us . Long live the Republic of Akan

Dusty, unfortunately our laws don't work, if this were a developed country this would have been the opportunity to vet the Mahamas. Access would be given to their accounts, income tax filings, company finances, associates etc ...

Access would be given to their accounts, income tax filings, company finances, associates etc., but we all know this is not going to happen. Some judge depending on his/her political affiliation and/or tribe is going to just give some dumb decision on the the case. We would not have all these accusations if there was transparency in the system. Mahama has never declared his assets and all that cover up gives rise to accusations. Americans were recently told after the tax period ending on April 14th, how much the Obamas made, how much went to charity etc., have you seen any president do that in Ghana?

If president Mahama's brother has nothing to hide then he should see the NPP in court. The sorts of stories circulating around about his dramatic increase in business activity since his brother took office are extremely troubling. I personally think Mahama's brother is walking into a trap.There is no way the fall out from this is going to do his brother Mahama ANY favours over the next two years. The NPP have learnt a bitter lesson about negative campaigning at the hands of the NDC and have become increasingly more adept at employing the same strategy. I think that no matter the outcome it is going to be a very bruising battle for NDC's Mahama and greatly highlight the failings of his administration.In contrast NPP has hardly got anything to lose.NDC have become so complacent about the growing negative perception of the government in Ghana that for the first time I now believe that a newly revamped NPP leadership could just pull off a 2016 win.

He Wontumi needs to be smart because lawyers want their money so even if you have no case , they'll still push you on. And for some people who think that Ibrahim will show his transactions and assets are dead wrong because his business/es are not in question here .All he has to prove is what Wontumi said about him and then Wontumi the accused will be the one to prove to the court why he said what he said with evidence and it has be authentic documents not just words. The happened to be the brother of the president does not mean he cannot live his normal life plus Wontumi, no one is question the source of his wealth why interfere in someone else's private life. He can campaign against NDC and the sitting president but not someone's private life including families of the president and veep. They have their rights just like every citizen in Ghana.

I am therefore not surprised we do not see an end to insults, lies, half truths and even truth said wrongly. How can a supposed educated person like Victor Smith say that then President Kufour had taken our gold reserves for personal use and yet could not get anyone to help him prove it only to apologise at the vetting. If there and then his appointment had been dropped , it would have brought sanity to our system. Both parties have had intra and inter party insults,lies and rumors. In a recent world free press index published by Reporters Without Borders, Ghana was ranked one of the best Ghana in terms of freedom of expression. Ghana has enjoyed freedom of expression and association since the 4th republic. Notwithstanding, certain people are taking this free press leniency to be a level not acceptable. Ghanaian people from our tradition have obeyed our elders, chiefs and parents. We had an adage which means, no matter how tall you are, you are not co-equal to your father. In countries like UK, USA, Netherlands and France, who were advocate for freedom of speech, you can't go on the air to disrespect the president, Prime Minister or the queen or King. Chairman Wontumi is gone too far when I hear him insulting the president and threaten the nation with demonstration to overthrow the legitimate government. Such utterance are treason and must be dealt with by the appropriate authorities. You can criticize the government or her policies and if you don't like the government you must use the ballot box to vote her out. If we keep on and think it's just rhetoric and stupidity, one day someone will go further than that. The government must keep a closer watch on these people.
