As soon as he died, Mr Akoto Osei jumped and said Hallelujah.and stated grabbing left and right.
They collapsed Ghana Telecom shared booty and today about 4,000 former GT employees are languishing in extreme poverty with some to their early graves. Their BLOOD shall forever be on their heads. The NPP MPs shared $5,000 each thanks Mr Appiah-Ofori of Odoben-Brakwa former MP.
I still do not understand why a whole president KUFUOR would abandon his presidential duties at home to sit down with VODAFONE Officials in the UK to negotiate a paltry amount of $900m for GT? He still boasts and claim to be a Statesman.
In Ghana the only statesman worthy of praise is PRESIDENT JERRY JOHN RAWLINGS. May this incorruptible man LIVE FOR LONG! Those who hate him are the CROOKS AND FRAUDULENT in our society.

NDC erred by cancelling the contract with Bankswitch. They falsely accused NPP of corruption in this matter and they failed to do due deligence before cancelling the contract.

Prior to the 2008 elections, NDC made so much noise about this deal and accused NPP of corruption. However, NDC did not cancell the contract until 2010. Even so, Betty Mould Iddrisu, the AG at the time, told NDC that there was nothing wrong with the contract with Bankswitch but she was brushed aside. Now that the chicken have come home to roost the NDC is turning round to accuse NPP again. This judgement debt is the fault of NDC so they should just take the blame and pay up and once they do that they should prepare and hand over in 2016.

folks, what is the real issue here? we have the DIC
(destination inspection companies)like webb fontaine ghana ltd, Bivac ghana ltd, ghana link network services ltd, inspection & control services ltd and GSL ltd. their core mandate is to perform valuation and issue a report on behalf of customs division of GRA. GSL ltd and ghana link network services ltd operates X-Ray scanners at the port and some point of entry/exit to check content of containerized/bulky and heterogeneous cargoes etc...
whatever the DIC's are doing, customs division of GRA could do it better, but some of our politicians tried to cash in by taken away the valuation function and giving it to the private man, of course some of our politicians even have shares in some DIC's, percentages and kickbacks etc...
and now we have the Gcnet an IT firm brought into this country in 2002 to create a single window platform, an electronic platform for creating, storing, forwarding of trade data etc..
gcnet came to do away with manual work done by customs which resulted in some errors that affects revenue, since Gcnet came more revenue has been realized than ever as compared to the manual age.
but Gcnet has their own challenges, in fact uncountable.
they also connected the DIC's, customs, banks, air & shipping lines, terminal operators, clearing companies, freight forwarders, government ministries, departments and agencies on to this single window platform. Indeed Gcnet is a good platform and the benefit that this company has brought is more but as i said before they have uncountable challenges.
by the way who the hell is bankswitch and what is their purpose here?
if the DIC's and Gcnet are doing all the stuff then my question again

Ghana under this Mahama led NDC gov't shouldn't have been saddled with this judgment debt not by any stretch, but for the stupidity and absolute foolishness of the current Minister of Foreign Affairs Hanna Serwaa Tetteh who at the time felt that, members of the then gov't ie the NPP, stood to benefit from a contract between BankSwitch and GoG, leading to the termination of the contract.
It is an equally brain dead and stupendous dimwit who would support, such a very silly action by Hanna Tetteh to abrogate the contract.
The staggering amount of almost GHC200million equivalent to about $71.43million dollars is testament to the gross and humongous stupidity of Hanna Tetteh, when juxtaposed against the fact that, this highly irresponsible Mahama led NDC gov't would be looking at a grant of $64million dollars from the EU for budget support.
The sheer recklessness and impunity of the NDC gov't bordering on lawlessness and incompetence, is having very, very untoward consequences for the country. Such stupidity from the likes of Hanna Tetteh should not be countenanced in the country, and for the impunity exhibited on her part, that has caused the country to loose such a whooping and humongous amount of money, she needs to resign or sacked by John Mahama to inject some badly needed sanity into the governance affairs of the country. It's only an irresponsible gov't such as the NDC, led by John Mahama, who would condone such recklessness. Hanna Tetteh needs to face the consequences of the ill fated termination of a contract for which Ghana needn't have paid any dime, or better still, not a pesewa, if it wasn't the case that she was incompetent, totally reckless and irresponsible and highly incapable of operating within the strict confines of the statutes of the country. She needs to be fired immediately to serve as a deterrent of such stupidity, lawlessness, recklessness and impunity. Such characters need not be entrusted with the affairs of the country, NO!!!.
