If it had been a toll booth in Legon, the National Security Apparatus would have moved in to clear the nonsense in a matter of seconds. Why? Because the Government gains nothing from the Legon Booths but gains everything from the illegal mining, if even the damned dam is destroyed. Yet, Ghanaians will vote for them again. I blame illiteracy and half-baked education in the country.

We should learn from the pass. I doubt that most of the politicians know the history of Ghana. We should Also make it clear to the Chiefs that Ghana lands belong to all Ghanaians and not only them.

Someone returned from Ghana yesterday and told me that the Pra River is now red or brown in color. Isn't this a shame? Where is the Environmental Protection Agency?
