  I take this more seriously, coming from Ghanaian doctors. I am always skeptical in taking medical information (most often conflicting), culled out of the internet from various doubtful sources. Since renowned Ghanaian medics are involved here, I assume that this information has received their blessing.
  However, I am a bit perturbed about the information in number 7 d. "Prevention of Erosion; avoid frequent intake of acidic foods or drinks (orange, grapefruit, lemon, black currant juices)" My nutrition lecturer used to tell us that 'an orange a day, will keep the doctor away'. I have since been taking plenty oranges, and encourage my family to do same. I discourage the intake of imported apples, with the argument that we should rather consume our locally produced oranges which are cheaper, and perhaps better, health wise. Now I am being told not to eat oranges frequently. I would therefore appreciate it if you could define the frequency with which one could take oranges, to help me know whether I have been taking too much or not. Also, I would be happy to know whether I can take more than one orange at a time.

A couple of days later, when the old man had a second appointment to get the results of the check-up, the doctor said, "You're really doing great, aren't you? You seem chirpy enough!"
