He was an apprentice under an incompetent president, whose death pushed him to the front, but if we are to be sincere with ourselves, Mahama is below par by every conceivable measure. BA History plus post-graduate certificate in communication is just too shallow to become president of Ghana.

So when they stole the election by bribing every body who was corruptible including SC Judges, they went about and resorted to what they know and do best. "Create, loot and share"The interest and welfare of the country and the people has never and will never be part of their work. It is a creation that was cultivatrd by J J Rawlings for close to 30 yrs. And to insulate himself for his cowardice he, populated the security forces with his unqualified foot soilders so much so that today, the seciruty forces is nothing but a political wing of the NDC. And a lot of Ghanaians can't decipher the con. Rawlings and his NDC have been the most dangerous and catastrophic event that was visited on GHana. 50+ yrs after independence, where Rawlings and his NDC has ruled for 30yrs and we have nothing to show for it.Nkrumah and Kuffuor in their short tenure, each performed better than the combined Rwlings/NDC 30 yrs. And that is a fact.

What is the educational qualifications of the Prime Minster of Canada, President Obama, ex-president Bush, Ronald Reagan, Churchill, John Major, Margaret Thatcher, the Chinese and Korean leaders, Australian Prime Minister, Putin and the leaders of France and Germany compared to the academic records of President John Mahama. A fool like Philty McNasty is so ignorant he does not understand the meaning of education. I wonder whether he understands the meaning of a leader. Philty McNasty needs free education to know the backgrounds of the Preisdent of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama. This is one sensible comment you've made about your do nothing Maamaa. Yes you are absolutely right that we do not resuscitate the present economic situation with such magnitude of taxes. It is collapsing internal business as well as international trade.

Believe you and me, Ghanaians in diaspora who were using their hard earned money buying both non-perishable and perishable goods to the country have come to a stop because of high taxes and inflation which is making it hard for them to sell their goods for minimum profit margin and retain their capital.

Mr. Terkper is a respectable gentleman whom I know in person but his economic ideas is solely based on taxes since Chairman Rawlings era which is not good idea at this time. He needs to create an environment whereby present entrepreneurs can take advantage to expand their business and also make new entrants enter the field to create businesses and get our teeming jobless get employed.

The government end of gaining more when Private Sector Business picks up. It get taxes from private sector employees, the Firms and Corporations as well. Beside these taxes, Social Security Administration Funds also builds up from employees and their employer's contributions which Government can borrow from when needed for new infrastructure building and rehabilitating old ones.

If the trend of taxing is not stop, very soon Ghanaians are going to see shortages of many basic commodities which will turn the country into hoarding eras of General Acheampong and Chairman Rawlings. E&OE.
