If indeed he does not run for a second term, that may be one of the wisest decisions he makes. Even the "Ee dey beee keke" slogan has been a bit on the quiet these days. I guess people busy are tucking their belts in as the economy continues to plunge...except of course.. for those who are dipping their hands in coffers.

I bet South Bronx has not experienced any power outage over the past five years and if it did at our dumsor rate it would be safe to predict chaos in your entire Grand Concourse and East Tremont neghborhoods - a haven for armed robbery.
The difference is : We in Ghana are over-tolerant to a height of being stupidly timid. We believe in dwarfs and divine interventions to mend our slumps, not excluding the fall of our cedis and mismanagement of our fates. Methinks the long-winded rambling of this article misleads the readers, although the signs are there for all to see that the NDC Government is planning and indeed has planned to fail.Corruption seems ever-increasing and there is no way out for the Government to avert or remove it from our society.10,000 thousand school children have no toilets.The nation is witnessing public protests and demonstrations or threats of demonstrations.Inflation is high and the workers are expecting an increase in minimum wage whilst the Government seems not to be bothered.Adding insult to injury Mr. P.V.Obeng believes SAD SADA is the best thing that has happened to Ghana.
I just don't get this.Maybe the NDC fraternity do get it when the President's younger brother can even own an aeroplane when there is no clear road in Bole Bamboi .Surely, we cannot see the funny side of this plane landing in Iran to resolve arguably USA, problems?

Prez Mahama has failed miserably.He took over from a very fast growing economy of 14%GDP and 9.8% inflation rate with a very high investors confidence.The cedi was seemingly stable in 2012.There was the flow of oil revenue and expection of getting into middle income status in the next 8-10 years time.Today,nobody is talking about middle income status again because the economy is no longer robust.There is no justification to renew NDC mandate but I am afraid NPP has not got the strategy to neutralise the NDC's winning strategy.NPP must do its best to elect a new candidate because if they present Nana Addo and he wins or loses,there will be some kind of unnecessary high tensions in the country.I can predict that if Nana Addo wins the 2016 general élections,the NDC will never concede defeat.Thank you.

since the incepyion of the fourth republic people of GHANA votes both the NDC and the NPP four two term in office: 1992---2000 for NDC,and 2000---2008 for the NPP,and again 2008---2012 first four year term for NDC,so now NDC government is in his second term from 2012---2016,and as i know the good people of GHANA next election is not going to be any different,now that the country has been plunge in economy mess ,MAHAMA and twerps in government have visited poverty on people of GHANA,and the decerning ones and their rented press can tell that come 2016 they have no choice than to quit power ,but their fear this all their corrupt acts will be expose and subsequently be prosecuted and jaile if found guilty

The history is already in the making. He has started laying the foundation blocks for his exit domain. Why do you think he keeps travelling all over the place? He's looking for his hideaway when he leaves office after his first term. With over a billion dollars stashed away in foreign countries, he knows for a fact that, the next government to come will be on his heels for answers to some mysterious deals and loans that must be accounted for. The man will not want to be the first President of Ghana to be put on trial for mismanagement of the country's finances. My bet is that, he will go on a self imposed exile with the excuse of saving the country from impulsion. Fare thee well Mahama, the people's thank you tour manipulator and seeker. We will not miss your misguided and joy riding misappropriation of our funds and governance. Ghana deserves better. The Star of Africa should not be made the Laughing Stock of Africa.

He should tackle corruption as his number one enemy.. The Sulley Garibas, the Andanis, etc who are reaping Ghana should be jailed to serve as a deterrent.
