In recent times the Galamsey chairman of NPP in the Ashanti Region called for the crazy 'Arab spring'. another two primitive NPP elephants have followed suit. WHAT SORT OF PEOPLE ARE THESE WHO ONLY BELIEVE IN VIOLENCE,BLOODSHED AND ANARCHY for as long as they are outside government? This Fortiz/Merchant bank deal deal from all indications is putrid, it stinks to the high heavens and nothing can justify such an atrocious deal, when Ghanaian taxpayers, from all indications are not getting any VALUE FOR MONEY in this stinking deal. Omane Boamah, MD should seek to explain why an equity firm which cannot even boast of the asset base to even acquire a non-financial banking license, should be made to take on this onerous task of not even a merger, but a full complete acquisition of Merchant bank, when Ghanaian taxpayers, have been offered far, far better VALUE FOR MONEY propositions from identifiable bodies with a portfolio of assets eclipsing over 100 billion dollars? It is indeed mindboggling the level of impunity and recklessness which has been unleashed on the affairs on governance by this NDC gov't. Ghana indeed deserves better than this recklessness which is permeating all facets of governance in this country. It's awfully pathetic.

Give them the mandate and Ghana is looted stupid in the name of property owning economy. Of course, it’s property owning in their era indeed as long as they are doing the owning like we witnessed in the days of Abrafi B., right up to J.A. Kufuor’s unforgettable administration.
  
  But, their numerous propaganda machines were hard at work and sung their praises to the far edges of the heavens to portray Ghana as a bright star under their tenure.   This Bombande man has now made it clear that he is purely a politician of a particular party under the cover of WANEP. He does not feel the present fire or problems most Ghanaians are facing. Yes! “When people feel that they have no alternatives, they resort to violence" but when people have the alternatives and yet their problems are not solved and the politians as well as those undercover poeple behind NGOs such as BOMBANDE and the likes are living on the poor peoples national cake with their cronies, the country may one day explode. What brought about the Arab spring can be far differnt from what will bring about the African Explotion and for that matter the Ghanaian Surprise. He should try to be sincere a little. He does not hold the key to the African Explotion and by extension the Ghanaian Surprise. The administrators/handlers of this country must be very careful not to bring confusion in the country.

  Believe it or not, Mahama's insensitive taxes, price hikes and corrupt administration have set the stage for for such an uprising. Ghana was nowhere near its current miserable state when Jerry John Rawlings led a rebellion that swept away the existing regime and three former Heads of State. Let another man of courage emerge to lead the oppressed people of this land and Ghana will witness an explosion it has never witnessed before. Our 30,000 strong Police Force and 15,000 men and women in the Military will be overwhelmed and swept aside if they decide to defend this corrupt and wicked Government instead of joining the impoverished and looted people of Ghana. That day is near, Bombande, that day is very near. Remember it took just one courageous protester to trigger the Arab Spring. Do the Government the favour of alerting them to sit up and do what is right for Ghanaians before it is too late. They give themselves 100% salary increases and loot State coffers on top to insulate themselves from the hardships they are dishing out to Ghanaians. Those who can neither increase their salaries nor steal State funds to survive the hardships may take to the streets as soon as they have a courageous person to lead them. A word to the wise .......

  Democracy doesn't and won't ever work in Africa because it allows corrupt and theiving politicians to wreak havoc on the individual nations' coffers without a recourse for 4 years.
  Ghana is a vivid and typical example of this phenomena. We are so corrupt that we can't even stand up to a government which is nakedly robbing us blind of even our human existence. Our gutters and streets of our cities are filled with filth. Our kids play around mosquito-infested drainage systems that are choked with garbage, causing malaria and other diseases.
  
  No law and order in anything we do especially, on our highways and roads which I refer to as "death traps". And the police looks on non-chalantly.
  Our health care system is in the doldrums and there's nothing to write home about on our educational system because it's a disaster. These are just a few of the failures of this "democratically" elected government and you think all these are "good" changes? You must be living under a rock to think that. Moron!

Politicians(both NDC&NPP) are just fooling some of us to believe that truly there is no money in the system(I bet to differ completely). They have managed to get pple to think that way and they are rather taking advantage of the opportunities that exist in the system and they are alone making the monies and enjoying with their families. Can someone tell me if any of the big shots in any of the parties are living in poverty? Just point one person to me. NDC stayed in opposition for 8years but as soon as they came back look at how they are living. NPP has been in opposition for 6years now, can anyone show me which of the big shots is poor? Please us forget about these politicians and try to get to know opportunities exist in Agric, Oil,banking,service industries so you can take a loan from a bank and start a business of your own and stop talking for these guys cos they will fool you to always think negative about the system

Look, people have sat down to assess the current situation in Ghana and come to the realisation that the economic situation is bad. The poor man who finds it difficult to get something to eat would risk death to end it all. Afterall, what is he living for? - when he sees no hope for improvemrnt in his life. The poor people see the affluent lifestyle of the politicians and would want to liberate themselves. What prompted JJ Rawlings to stage a revolution? His reason was that he could not afford "YORKS". And how many people can afford it now? What is inevitable is inevitable. How come people say that the late Prez Mills gave a better leadership than Mahama? These are comments from even NDC members. A hungry man is an ANGRY man. The elite and privileged in society will not dream of "JASMIN" (remember the Tunisian man who set himself on fire?) revolution - they are "sitting well". Let us stop dreaming and confront the situation head on.

  mahama main challenges as at now is he want to do things in different and right direction to build a good and Sound foundation for the take off of the economy-Tekper Minister of finance is doing the right Thing , those who were benefiting from the corrupt and dirty deals will surely not be a happy man because the sources of the booties are been closed .as they are trying to build a good foundation government should also bear in mind not to put much pressure and burdens on the People.

It was a prosperous and quiet country in the 80s but when corruption and power crab destroyed that country all the qualities of that country turned into chaos.It is said that 'No one was born wicked but due to the actions of others makes one wicked'. When the youth are fed up with corrupt politicians looting and not helping the ordinary Ghanaians, they have nothing to loose if they cause civil unrest. A hungry man is an angry and the youth are getting tired of politicians stealing their daily bread.
