  After 57 years of Independence we can't even construct simple roads except with the help of some Chinese laborers and engineers. Without these foreigners construction like that at Spintex Road near Accra Mall clearly demonstrates how stalled our minds are at crossroads of progressive thinking. At a point all the roads from different directions converge at one spear-pointed intersection with no clear indication of who has right-of way or where a vehicle must go. It is an engineering blunder which all motorists including the President, Government Officials and Ministers (including one for Roads and Works)who leave and drive nearby enjoy with acquiscence. That defines our brains ! That tells the difference between white and black. One is clear while the other gathers dust in darkness.
  Unless we try to do things right and appoint responsible people to go around and report these so-called corrupt contractors to some real prosecutory agency independently set up and respected by all we are doomed forever as a nation into an 'ede bi keke' syndrome - floating at the mercy of the Chinese to dig our gold for us. IDIOTS
