There existed professional prophets in days of Jeroboam king of Israel, whose sole duty is to prophesise to the king for food and their living allowance.
There came Amos from nowhere near the prophet band after he has encounter God in the sycamore vine to warn the King not to take Israel to war.
Because these stomach prophets knew they will loose their wages, should they accept Amos’ prophesy, impressed upon the king to send Amos away to prophesise to his kinsmen for bread.
The king did not heed to Amos` advice and took Israel to war against its enemies…..HE WHO HAS EARS LET HIM HEAR!!!!

All those who are pushing him will do him a great harm and regret for the rest of their lives. He cannot declare otherwise than the obvious perception everyone. His intentions black n white (DIE HARD) Nana Van dam but still he will die because he pronounced dead for himself. Only simple minded will fool for him…..Nana is not a success he is living on legacy…..

Professor Martey has not seen God before and I will imagine his disappointment if he dies to see God as a Northerner… How can you discriminate when you call yourself a follower of Christ? Your political stance has water down what I revered you for. Your opinions and expressions are full of malice against a group of people who were also created by the same God you serve. Why have taken stance and speak ill of one publicly whilst you are mute on your favourites. Beware !!! of Matt 18 verse 6……

The rather long title is a reflection on the new chairman of the Christian council; a whole lot of nothing. Interestingly his stay and education at the seminary in the USA and possibly work history in New York did not help him overcome the rather unhealthy bond between him and tribe or politics here in Ghana.
Yes Rev Martey is a citizen of Ghana and as such with all the rights to comment or render his advice on affairs in Ghana that affects him as well as all others. However, if he had learnt some basic democratic values and principles during his stay in the USA he has not made good use of it with his use of the church to interject himself into politics while he happily carry on in his role of carrying water for the NPP. His inability to restrain himself is proof that tribal and political party loyalty amongst Ghanaians is stronger than ever even with those claiming to hold a key to the highway to heaven.
