  GYEEDA is on the wrong path that is why it would not work or benefit the youth in the North. Government does not create jobs -- what they need is to empower the youth with small business loans and skills to manage and grow their own businesses. Even if the GYEEDA money was not put into private pockets the current idea of making the youth grow trees or whatever is not what would reduce the unemployment. The government needs to determine the needs of the Northern region and give incentives to private citizens to go into the business of producing those needs. One is likely to be more efficient and productive if they know it would maximize their personal profits. Do you really think the youth would really plant the trees if they know it is government work? They will grow one or two and just go home. This is a repeat of the old workers/builders brigade which the corrupt commanders stole monies and crops. We need to get rid of these socialist mindset otherwise the economy/unemployment would not go anywhere.
