How can Mahama hold SADA officials who squandered SADA funds in the name of MAHAMA. Anybody who believes there will be SADA prosecutions is in KWASEA BI paradise

  I guess the idea of restructuring to the administration is just "changing of the guards" and continuing on the same cow paths. There are so many flaws in the system that needs to be removed -- we can't use the same methods and expect different results. This socialist mentality of creating jobs won't work. It is like the workers/builders brigade idea which would lead to more corruption. Government needs to establish a list of items that are NEEDED to improve the Northern region -- not sure if Akonfem farms rank high but if so then list it. Provide training/skills to the youth and use the allocated money as small business loans to empower the youth to create their own businesses in the areas of need. "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime". People work harder and efficiently in the private sector than this socialist system of paying them to plant trees for pay. The youth are not stupid they just need some incentives and then they will put their thinking caps on.

  The new SADA board should be familiar with the working of Sahelian ecological zone, and must be ready to organize and coordinate what I consider as the five essential components of any successful undertaken - Strategy, Measurements, Processes, People, and Technology.
  
  In addition, the board members must come to terms about how they intend to make use of the land - which parts of land should be afforested, which should be reforested, and which should be left to activities like livestock and guinea fowl rearing.
