  Ghanaian pastors simply don't care about the future of Christians hence they do not even know how to give them the spiritual message to enable christians realize that the Gospel of Jesus is about spiritual kingdom in which they must live now and realize and live in the finished work of Jesus despite social realities.

  Superpowers come and go, they turn to assume themself as the greatest nation and the most revered nation on earth. They pride themselves to be superior to any humen on earth, so all nations tries to reach that position.
  
  Hitler's focus was to be the most powerful and superior people on earth. This bring to the inference that all nations seeking the status of the greatest nation are not different from one another, except their methodology.
  
  Most ancient superpowers were using their brutal force of military to achieve this cause of ambitions, because they did not know anything better, all because of lack of knowledge and informations written down like recent generations.
  
  The recent powers have what the ancient lacks and they choose different methodology which is dangerous than that of the ancients. It is call cunning and deceptions. They label them in the state of love, embedded with smooth cruelties and atrocities. It is well coordinated except a person truefully and genuinely knows the gospel of Jesus Christ to discern and permeate the artificial flavored love and lies flounting into minds and hearts of juveniles, youth and the up and coming feckles. They can even influence the adage.

This behaviour does not come from God Almighty. This is the reason why Jesus Christ came to encapsulate the goodies of the creator into salvation gospel. Hence, the only way to the creator in life, even though the creator made us all and his love is shared by all, going to him is through salvation. Therefore to and from is salvation. The genuine equality sanction by the blood of Jesus Christ. PERIOD.

  Many pastors focus their energy on the way believe in God, forget to see and know that Paul before being handcuff by Jesus when chasing after the dissciples to killed, was a staunch believer of God of the Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. A person can belief in wrong things, wrong ways and wrong process and procedures. In salvation, your belief sterms on Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God. This makes your believes appropriate, even if the person is deny his request. The spirit of understand will comfort.

  Although I do not agree entirely with this homily because of hints of prosperity gospel, I have noticed, I see some strong points which I agree with, and are worth commenting: 1.Title--keeping our eyes on the cross (the Innocent dying for the guilty), we will arrive at Christ-centered decisions, not self-centered. Because these decisions may at times be bitter to swallow and may hurt our self-esteem or self-worth, or even cause our death, we may not like them, but they are Christlike--and that's our reason to celebrate.
  
  "And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name"(Acts 5:41).
  
  "So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer..."
  (2 Thessalonians 1:4-5).
  
  It is our baptism which should remind us of the death and resurrection of Christ (the beginning of a new culture), not Easter (the symbolic resurrection day). Note this fact:
  
  "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.   "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith" (1 John 5:4).
  
  Our greatest asset as Christians is the significance of the cross. It gives us an opportunity to accept (believe) the victory of Christ over sin as ours in the "newness of life" culture when we are baptized, and places us alongside His Spirit (parakletos) to learn of Christ to gain power over temptations and sin.
  
  "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30).

  Refer to the second commandment:Exodus 20: "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." Thou shalt not bow thyself to them or serve them..." Jesus in his lifetime never ever direct his followers to use the image of the cross in his adoration and memory. The cross was a Roman execution device, copied from the Persians and thousands died on it. take note of that.
