First all having ideas doesnt mean you have the personnel or cadres to execute them , if you did you would already have the ideas and solutions . Stealing ideas can never help as always there is a hidden substance that is not readily visible . WHY DOES INCOMPETENT NDC/MAHAMA FOREVER COVET POLITICAL POWER?

1. For 19 good years, the P/NDC People ruled Ghana as Dictatorship or quasi-military politico administration of Ghana. Most of the present members of this present Government actually worked in the PNDC as Officials of Tribunals, Vetting, Investigation and Confiscation Assets Committees, BNI, Diplomatic, Security and Surveillance/BNI, Secretaries of State or Cadres of many of your Militia and political administration. Everyone of these people in power were either in power under J J Rawlings or their Fathers and relations were in power during the First Republic as this very President whose Father served as Minister of the three Northern Regions under Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah's CPP government.

2. The current President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, had supported the revolution and became an MP of the ruling PNDC organisation in 1992, at the age of 34 years. This is the only work of the President in his lifetime, namely Ghana Politics. As an MP, John Dramani Mahama won elections and attended Parliament from 1992 to 2008 - that is to say, 16 good years as Parliamentarian - FOUR Terms of Office: Two terms of 8 years as a Member of Government and another two terms as leading member of the Opposition, working in NDC Communication wing, when NPP ruled Ghana. Dr Kofi Busia only had TWO years as Prime Ministers

3. The current President was appointed a Secretary of Communication under the Rawlings Civilian Administration, and was therefore a substantive Member of Cabinet with all the major players in office now such as Ahwois, Tsikatas, Cecilia Johnson, P V Obeng, Totobi and the rest of the present or current administration, still working in different capacities in the NDC Government. This said government carried out the Divestiture Implementation Committee that sold all the country's State Assets of almost 330 Major Properties including Factories, Hotels, Mines, Parastatls etc. This was after using their unchallenged authority and unbridled power to arrest, investigate, prosecute many people in their Special Courts to impose draconian fines and confiscate their private properties, as well as force rich, noble and successful Ghanains into exile or face long terms of imprisonment

4. The current President of Ghana, John D Mahama was the Vice President of Ghana, under late Professor Atta Mills, whose illness and demise have been well-documented. Now we know the extent of the late President ill-health condition, revealing the dominant influence of the former Vice President in the Atta Mills government...That is to say, the Vice President virtually ruled Ghana during the period the elected President was recuperating and seeking medical help all over the world from 2008 to his tragedy in 2012. There is nothing this Vice President did not know about the country

5. The NDC Government as constituted now are composed of all the members of P/NDC who have ruled Ghana far more years than any Political Party or Military Regime. Whiles the mighty CPP ruled for 15 years and the NPP tradition has ruled twice for mere 10 years of Political Office, the same people in power now have ruled Ghana as AFRC for FOUR Months; as PNDC for 19 years; and as NDC for Six years...Almost 26 years or approaching Terms of Political Office. 6 to 7 Terms of Political Office - President Kufuor had only 2 Terms and yet look at what they achieved in 8 years when the country had been stripped of all its resources and assets and driven into Highly Indebted Poor Country (HIPC) status

6. President Mahama always knew President John Atta Mills was going to die, and rightfully took over power with the same group of advisors and apparatchiks, when he kicked the bucket in 2012. He was not only hailed and elected unopposed as NDC's Presidential Candidate but also spent almost GH 8 Billion Cedis of Ghana's monies between August and December 2012 - sharing SUV Vehicles, Saloon Cars, Lap top Computers, Outboard Motors, Motor bikes, Sewing Machines, Mobile Phones and so much money to many elders in society including Chiefs, Imams, Pastors, Community Elders, Student leaders, Chief Farmers and Fishermen and Electorate.

7. Altogether, President Mahama has been in active political office as MP of Bole-Bamboi since the tender age of 34 years, but still wants advice from all and sundry at a mature age of 55 years (i.e. 21 years in political office). The Party's Founder is still alive and advising him. All the major players of his administration have worked with the ruling Party since 1982 and serving as Boards of Government departments. His Vice President has also worked in all the P/NDC Administrations, as well as serving as Governor of Central Bank of Ghana...

8. President Mahama has served as a Parliamentarian, Chief Whip, Government Spokesman; Chief of the NDC Communication wing; Served as Deputy and then substantive Minister of State; became a Vice President of Ghana heading the Economic Management Team, unelected President, and now the Elected President of Ghana, confirmed by the Supreme Court of Ghana...

9. At the age of 55 years, President Mahama is Ghana's third oldest President, and therefore no prude, with alleged horde of so many children and possible grandchildren, even as he is paraded as Child of Independent Ghana (born in 1958). President Dramani Mahama never listens to anyone's advice. He pursues his goal in a tunnel vision and appoints into sensitive political office so many inexperienced people who will look up to him as a father figure. He spends Ghana's monies as he pleases and fly around with the Presidential Plane as he deems fit. Again, he is in his 7th Term of Political Office, receiving huge salaries and per diem as Parliamentarian and President for over so long a time. He has done no significant work in his lifetime at home or abroad except Politics of Ghana

10. The President is left with two more years to go in his high political office after ruling Ghana for two terms...He and his government functionaries are bereft of ideas, yet he wants more....and so has called for a National Economic Forum to discuss the decline of the same country he has helped to rule in all his working lifetime...Why? Why does he want more political power when he seemed not capable of delivering the goods and morbidity and mortality rate have gone up so high? Why does these NDC people always covet Political Power? Is ruling a country merely retaining political power for personal economic gains of the dominant political party? What about poor people, such as the country's millions of unemployed people suffering such harsh economic turmoil as a direct result of maladministration under President John Mahama and his NDC Government? Is Political Power the only thing Mahama knows in his personal life? Why can't he do something else than become a stumbling block to a whole country's development?

Dr Akoto Osei has made several propositions lately and I think this is the opportunity for him to articulate and submit same, but unfortunately, they are following their party's position.

Ghanaians be awake! Do not follow NPP, for, they are liars and nation-wreckers. Look at Dr Ndoum, even though the PPP which he leads has made a statement against the NEF, he has shown LEADERSHIP & interest to attend if invited. In any case, these ideas have been forthcoming and in the public domain since 2009. If the NDC gov't led by John Mahama did not take any cue from the ideas and advice in the public domain from the opposition and various stakeholders, are we to assume and rightfully so, that the National Forum aside, the yentie obiaaa policy is the overriding principle of the NDC gov't and the forum is of no consequence, more so when information in the public domain again goes to lend credence to the fact that, this is not a forum for any consensus, but rather a lecture, so to speak about, what the NDC gov't has purposed to do from now till 2017?
Clearly, the Mahama led NDC gov't has a plan and they intend to fix the situation, and the forum would not make any difference, and the masses should just judge their output and make a decision at the ballot box in 2016, to continue with the status quo or to jettison them massively.

Over the last 8 months or so, we have been bombarded with the suggestion that the economy is doing well, the economy is working, the economy is resilient.!! Now we are being told pele with knowledge about economics and nation development strategies are to meet to deliberate on the economy?
Can the president and the NDC be able to tell us what has changed? Are they now waking up to realize that "eniema enkoyie koraa, enti yehyia moa"!! Yet they still insult many who can contribute! Interesting indeed!
Can the NDC swallow it's ugly pride called propaganda and tell us all where the national economy is?? Based on that, will they allow time for reasonable people to verify their position on the economy, before any dialogue takes place? Without people knowing the base point on which to discuss, this four days will be like a goose chase and will amount to nothing tangible. Unless of course the NDC has put forth plan and wants it adopted to look like a national consensus.
