I cannot but agree with you. With such great distance helicopter rescue should have been the means. But the question is do we have helicopters on our naval vessels?

To a good Ghanaian and co. Please read the article again and you will see that a safety decision was made and that is why they did not use a Chopper. "He said the Ghanaian team encountered bad weather conditions but persevered to rescue the sick" If they had used a chopper in that weather condition how good will it be if the chopper crashed with the rescused people? After all they had medical staff on the ship and the best they could do is what they did to not put any other souls in danger. So please give them a break.

hope government is aware of this, they should stop politics in the military,come to our aid. when it comes to money armed forces must also be considered. we are suffering in the various operational theaters both African and middle east yet our big men re stealing and cheating us. when we meets other nationals we can't compare ourselves to them, why because they are taking about 3 times our earn dollar and they should pay us our arrears if not so soldiers will switch during the next election because they are waiting for day.
