Lets face it, all these ashawo journalists and media realized after peddling the propaganda and lies of the NDC that the people immediately saw through them and stopped buying their newspapers or listening to their radio stations , so they now offer watered down versions of the truth instead of the cold hard facts . 98% of the people of Ghana have rejected the corrupt moral and perverse ndc govt policies be it so called fight for sodomy and gay right to fake economy discussions . we do not have these pepeni and ayigbe idiots as you have to be worth something or worthy to hate we simply read my lips here totally DESPISE THEM. we despise their corruption , we despise their hatred of the Akan majority , we despise their looting and their daily lies , the list is endless as the rotten through and through. Not so long ago they tell us this is the Action year for the Better Agenda as the continue listen very carefully the murdered mill's agenda . Then they tell us they are only in first gear , now they say with the economic forum not only has the car stopped but they are now shopping around for IDEAS to find petrol to get the car moving again in a direction they don't know ? yes we deeply despise such pepeni ayigbe incompetence and they should know after this period will follow the period of FURY. Just look at the misery and woes they have brought upon our people and still they refuse to LET OUR PEOPLE GO. they are too busy steal the little foreign exchange left that the cedi is plummeting down. they are allies with kuffour and his band of robbers who hijacked the npp for a while and made sure they destroyed the grassroots network of the npp so npp can not truly lead any opposition fight to the end like the Ukrainians did . these foolish ndc dont seem to figure out everytime time they come up with a way to freely spend the tax papers money we see through their lies and propaganda . so after spending a thousand dollars a day per person at this 4 day national economic forum without consensus what do they have to show for it except more lies , propaganda and wishful fantasy thinking . shame on you kuffuor for giving them support , if you can find it in you to care then advise your partners in crime to resign and go away for good

How can you hope to achieve economic growth when the website of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture has omitted Eastern Region in the list of regions where oil palm plantations can be grown?? Yet the largest oil palm plantation and mill is located in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

With such ethnocentric policies how can you grow the economy?? I am thinking that the Mahama administration is hoping to achieve economic growth within a few regions. This is not the only example.

I don´t believe that the BOG has accurate data of the economic activity in the at least 12 Akyem districts which make up more than half the population on the region. The GDP and GNI of these Akyem districts are very high. They stem from:

Gold mining
Diamond mining
Cocoa
Oil Palm (the largest in West Africa)
Timber
Software development
etc

The money supply and capital in the at least 12 Akyem districts are wholly inadequate. BOG must remove impediments to the setting up of rural banks in these districts and encourage ADB and GCB to open branches in these districts. BOG must also provide funds to these rural banks at lower central bank rates.

The government must further ensure that wholly owned Ghanaian banks, including rural banks, get at least 80% of the banking revenue.

It was only the minority leader who said that the time was not long enough plus it didn't have any memo included. Even if NPP had received it in years, they wouldn't have honored it because they have made up their minds that they will not honor any invitation to any national forum dealing with NDC. But they have to remember that it's for Ghana's interest but not their own interest. If they can go on radio and other media to lynch NDC government at all times, why can't they go to do it in face to face? A party that's fighting to rule Ghana turns around and tell Ghanaians that they were not ready to speak in the national forum because they received the invitation late.C'mon. Are they going to boycott 2016 elections too? Opposition parties suppose to let people know their intentions for the country but if they cannot offer any solid solutions or advice the current government regardless of whether the current will take it or not, how can people trust that such parties? If those parties think by pointing out the negatives in the current government alone can win them power, then I'm sorry they need to change their tactics and let the floating voters know how they can maintain their trust. I would have to blame the newly elected chairman of the NPP for this unfortunate boycott. Based on historical evidence boycotts have not always augured well for the party in opposition (whether NPP or NDC). If Afoko intends moving his party(NPP)forward, he needs to learn from his predecessors. I can understand and respect the NPP position on this particular Economic Forum but when it comes to issues of national interest, I would expect the NPP to contribute their quota. Anger and boycotts wouldn't be the way forward if the NPP intends wining the presidency in 2016. Recently a lot of people including, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe, Dr. Akosa,Mr. Osafo-Marfo, and Kweku Baako Jnr have come under NPP intense fire for condemning the "Boycott".....Even if our own Ghanaian culture acknowledges the consequences of anger in decision making then NPP would have to learn to control "their" anger when it comes to NATIONAL INTEREST. I don't think it is my responsibility to tell who is wrong or right in this situation but I am old enough to caution the newly elected chairman of the NPP, Mr. Afoko, to be wary of the roadblocks ahead of the presidential elections.

The facilitator, is as dump, he has no idea about most of the topics for discussion, he interrupts unprofessionally when contributors are making their points, he is petty and generally, partisan. Are the likes of Baako, Allotey Jacobs and co the only persons to be on the program out of the many intelligent people in Ghana?. The whole program has become boring, lacking enthusiasm and no intellectual or constructive arguments. Baako has become self-opinionated and always tries to hype his egotistical attitude. The program has lost it's meaningfulness and for now does not warrant the radio station the program is presented on. Baako is a failure and a nonentity trying to be a significant.
