why are these NDC idiots crying , wailing and gnashing their teeth about the NPP not participating in their foolish propaganda gimmick labeled the economic waste of time chop money forum? Even their own duffuor and peprah or worthy businessmen like Sam Jonah and Ken Agyapong amongst others distanced themselves from that farce or hastily prepared event. did they not so long ago say they have a better agenda , action year, manifesto , no need for an all inclusive govt or tapping into the potentials of even the diaspora , no need for free education in the south too, no need to investigate the mysterious death of Mills , encouraging sodomy and homosexuality , govt still in first gear or now in reverse or completely stopped for lack of the fuel of ideas . In fact things are so bad that the long overdue reshuffle can not happen as all worthy , competent people with integrity refuse to participate in the mess of a govt or serve under and idiot of a pepeni president Mahama. Even schoolboy fifi kwetey admits the forum is unnecessary as our problems are all about NDC POLITICS and their incorrigible rouge socialism which further pushes our people to poverty . if you speak up and dont sing their hallelujah chorus of stupidity and hatred of the Akans you will be immediately be branded a drug baron , corrupt , arrogant , ashanti/akyem primitive ,madman , deranged , fool or idiot for pointing them in the right direction . how can there be a successful economic dialogue that will produce sustainable macroeconomics and plans based on the positive potentials of our people if all the major stakeholders including the diaspora or promoters of worthy projects not invited . if no one can dare to criticize the govt for fear of being victimized or persecuted by the ewes and northerners today ? The potential of the majority due to this tribal ndc politics is excluded from participating in anything so how do they expect the move things forward in reality have nothing to offer except corruption , hatred of the Akans and narrow mindedness? petition or not this govt is burdened by being illegitimate in the minds of all citizens ( as all still suspect election rigging and corruption of the judges ) so can never perform or have the true authority and support of the majority to produce a better future

i think something really strange is going on in that ministry of energy and petroleum. there is an imperative call to check the professional relationship between the minister and his deputy. the lay-down procedures to follow in the discharge of their duties show to be clearly compromised by self interest. And if this allegation against the accused deputy minister is true there is nothing to do than to fire him. Ghana deserves the best and we must not allowed all these desperate and corrupt officials to be at the helm of our national affairs.

The name Benjamin Spencer Kwaku Dagadu is a name that resonates well with the energy sector. Blessed with the rare combination of enormous expertise and wealth of experience following decades of active service in the industry, Mr Dagadu has held various key positions in the energy sector and contributed immensely to its.

A professional engineer, Ben holds an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Technical University of Heavy Industry, Miskolc Hungary and has more than Thirty (30) years’ experience in the oil industry.

He has worked in the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation as Manager of Field Evaluation and Development Department as well as Projects Coordinator. He has extensive Operation Management experience on GNPC’s projects such as the Tano Fields, Angola Block 24 Extended Well Testing Programme, Saltpond Project in Ghana, the Gabon and La Cote D’Ivoire Projects.

Until April 2013, he was the General Manager of A – Z Petroleum Products Ghana Limited. Ben served as a consultant for the Volta River Authority from January to October 2003. He also served as a consultant at the Energy Ministry for the Osagyefo Power Barge from July 2003 to September 2007.

From January 1989 to June 2003, Ben was Projects Coordinator and Manager of the Field and Evaluation Department of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC). He was also in charge of the Angola and Gabon Project, where he designed Extended Well programme for block 24 Offshore Angola and coordinated activities in Gabon on behalf of GNPC.

He was also the team leader for the Petroleum Department, Ministry of Fuel and Power, Accra from September 1980 to January 1989.

He led the team for the Saltpond Project and participated in the Reservoir Engineering Study of the Saltpond Field with Braspertrol of Brazil. From 1982 to 1984, he was the Chairman of the Workers Defence Committee, Petroleum Department, Ministry of Fuel and Power. As a Professional Engineer, his achievements in the Oil and Energy Sector are well recognized inside and outside Ghana.

Hon. Dagadu was born on 19th April 1948 in Tsyome-Afedo, in the Volta Region.

He describes himself as “friendly, loyal, serious, dedicated and hardworking individual who has an ambition to succeed in all environments I find myself.” He speaks English, Hungarian and Ewe.
