Answer: we will have only one choice: to follow what the devil and his cronies say which will eventually lead to destruction of the world in which we live. God in his mercy has paid dearly for our right to choose life by given us Christ, the only second chance man will ever have with him for the freedom from the penalty, and power of sin, and a hope from the presence of sin some day (grace).
Choosing ignorance does not free a person from the consequences of the law.

Thus, would we many Ghanaian Christians on earth have been the same Christians if we were born today in certain locations like Arabia, Japan, India, etc? Don't we think we are what we have been informed about rather than what we inform?
To the atheist:
What I believe science has done in our lives today is enormous. But, upon all the explanation in favour of your belief, science don't tell why should there be earth at all? We are only given explanations about what exists or existed by science, whereas no explanation for when there was nothing what was it like? Big bang existed from something, what existed before big bang, and on and on until nothing was existing what explanation can be given for it and any proof for that?
To my mates believers:
1. Do we follow God because we fear or love Him?
2. Why do we love someone we fear or fear someone we love? Don't the bible contradicts itself this way, example love your enemies? Now, would God loving His enemies and teaching us to follow the same put His enemies including Satan into unquenchable fire?
3. If there was no God, hell and heaven what else would we have believed in? Humans?
4. What I find INEXPLICABLE in Christian believe is our inability to question things like item 2 above. We see in Romans 9 about the pot having no power to question the porter why He the porter moulded the pot into dishonour yet condemns it for being so? Also, it was predestined for Jesus to be betrayed in order for us to receive eternal life, why wouldn't this Judas be honoured for opening salvation door rather than condemned?

Their sympathy for a peaceful and a free world, devoid of misfortunes and calamities takes them only to the doors of frustration in their inability to find reason consoling enough to the mind to link God with or understand the work of God or what role can sensibly be attributed to God rather than we humans. God is spirit, and spiritual beings are not limited to rational thinking or doings irrational for the same. Faith and belief systems relate to spiritual rather than the material nature. The atheist worries why God doesn't come down to prevent certain happenings in this world such as death, accidents and sickness etc,but if God would do that how would the world be? Heaven on earth? People would stop thinking or working and just carry their problems to God for instant solution. That isn't the purpose for which God made the world. may be, one day we would come to understand why God allows death and tragedies in our rational assessment of life. Science is a rational base upon material and physical existence is explained, but there is a spirit counter explanation, irrational in nature, that also explain physical manifestations but which rational thinking would not buy into.Accepting God is not based on fear but reverence and protection through life's journey as people belief that life doesn't end here after death. Belief in something comes from personal intuition or encounter which walk parallel ways to science.

Yet, they believe there is no God while they have no evidence whatsoever of his non existence. Atheism is a faith based religion just as christianity or islam. A wiser position to take as a person looking for truth is to be agnostic. From there, we can start truth journey, of which, i believe, all roads lead to Christ and him risen from the dead.

However, there is no evidence to suggest that any human's idea of god (Yahweh, Allah, Vishnu) actually exists. In fact the evidence seems to be against it, given that the 'evidence' for their existence is all man-made (Bible, Quran, Gita), and often relies on things like 'miracles' and blind faith, neither of which I believe in.
My attitude is skepticism; my conclusion is agnosticism; my opinion is atheism.

What we have to do is really go back and trace the religion of our ancestors way before the invasion of Islam and Christianity. Don't tell me it's Idol or satanic worship. He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
Isaiah is actually describing the Earth as flat and circular, with a dome-shaped tent (sky) covering the land.
As we all know, the Earth is not a circle but a sphere, and if Isaiah wanted to call it a sphere, he could have easily done so because earlier he states that God will “roll you up tightly like a ball and throw you into another country” (Isaiah 22:18).
Furthermore, the “flat pancake” Hebrew word for “circle” is described elsewhere in Job 26:10 and Proverbs 8:27, although the NIV substitutes the word “circle” for “horizon.”

If you cannot question issues because that is what you are made to believe, then I am sorry keep to yourself and do not attack him. I have always been predicting that religion in Ghana and Africa would never be the same in the next 50 years because a lot of people are going to be disillusioned in the light of modern science which is a solution to all our problems and that would mark the birth of our development. The behaviours of most pastors are going to accelerate this such that the disillusionment would come much earlier.
Some of so called xtians have same doubts about religion but are afraid to express it just because you fear you would incur the wrath of your God. If that is so just keep mute but you would not mute because you think if you criticise Ros, that would receive you blessings from God. You are deceiving yourselves.
I am very much happy to hear of this association and I wish them the best of luck to grow strong enough to agitate reforms in our educational curriculum to rid it of religion and in its place emerge the pragmatist philosophy. We are aware from reality. Let us wake up!!

For example, Christianity teaches that God is so unforgiving that He could not forgive man for the sins Adam and Eve committed, so He had to turn himself into a human, to be born by Mary 5000 years after Adam, Nurses/TBAs would have to administer the delivery, he would would grow up after 30 years to begin to preach to humanity, he would eat food just as any other human being, after eating he would attend to nature's call just as any other human being, he would then be beaten, stripped naked leaving only his underwear, he will be humiliated before every body, he would then be killed through crucifixion in order to be able to forgive mankind. This is illogical, the human repels this idea. Christians say that is our God, the creator of the universe and all that exist.This concept alone can make a logical person to become an atheist if his background is Christianity.But mohammad preached that God is most forgiving and He forgives those who sincerely stop their evil ways and return to him with repentance, you dont need blood to be forgiven. A word to some one who is wise is always enough.
Now to the atheist
I want to use this platform to advance to you about the existence of God that a great scholar in Islam by name Dr. Zakir Naikir in his response to an atheist.
CONGRATULATING AN ATHEIST
Normally, when I meet an atheist, the first thing I like to do is to congratulate him and say, " My special congratulations to you", because most of the people who believe in God are doing blind belief - he is a Christian, because his father is a Christian; he is a Hindu, because his father is a Hindu; the majority of the people in the world are blindly following the religion of their fathers. An atheist, on the other hand, even though he may belong to a religious family, uses his intellect to deny the existence of God; what ever concept or qualities of God he may have learnt in his religion may not seem to be logical to him.
My Muslim brothers may question me, "Zakir, why are you congratulating an atheist?" The reason that I am congratulating an atheist is because he agrees with the first part of the Shahada i.e. the Islamic Creed, ‘La ilaaha’ - meaning ‘there is no God’.
So half my job is already done; now the only part left is ‘il lallah’ i.e. ‘BUT ALLAH’ which I shall do Insha Allah. With others (who are not atheists) I have to first remove from their minds the wrong concept of God they may have and then put the correct concept of one true God.
LOGICAL CONCEPT OF GOD
My first question to the atheist will be: "What is the definition of God?" For a person to say there is no God, he should know what is the meaning of God. If I hold a book and say that ‘this is a pen’, for the opposite person to say, ‘it is not a pen’, he should know what is the definition of a pen, even if he does not know nor is able to recognise or identify the object I am holding in my hand. For him to say this is not a pen, he should at least know what a pen means. Similarly for an atheist to say ‘there is no God’, he should at least know the concept of God. His concept of God would be derived from the surroundings in which he lives. The god that a large number of people worship has got human qualities - therefore he does not believe in such a god. Similarly a Muslim too does not and should not believe in such false gods.
If a non-Muslim believes that Islam is a merciless religion with something to do with terrorism; a religion which does not give rights to women; a religion which contradicts science; in his limited sense that non-Muslim is correct to reject such Islam. The problem is he has a wrong picture of Islam. Even I reject such a false picture of Islam, but at the same time, it becomes my duty as a Muslim to present the correct picture of Islam to that non-Muslim i.e. Islam is a merciful religion, it gives equal rights to the women, it is not incompatible with logic, reason and science; if I present the correct facts about Islam, that non-Muslim may Inshallah accept Islam.
Similarly the atheist rejects the false gods and the duty of every Muslim is to present the correct concept of God which he shall Insha Allah not refuse.
QUR’AN AND MODERN SCIENCE
The methods of proving the existence of God with usage of the material provided in the ‘Concept of God in Islam’ to an atheist may satisfy some but not all. Concept of God shall be discussed later in Mr Lyn's subsequent parts.
Many atheists demand a scientific proof, like Mr Lyn, for the existence of God. I agree that today is the age of science and technology. Let us use scientific knowledge to kill two birds with one stone, i.e. to prove the existence of God and simultaneously prove that the Qur’an is a revelation of God.
If a new object or a machine, which no one in the world has ever seen or heard of before, is shown to an atheist or any person and then a question is asked, " Who is the first person who will be able to provide details of the mechanism of this unknown object? After little bit of thinking, he will reply, ‘the creator of that object.’ Some may say ‘the producer’ while others may say ‘the manufacturer.’ What ever answer the person gives, keep it in your mind, the answer will always be either the creator, the producer, the manufacturer or some what of the same meaning, i.e. the person who has made it or created it. Don’t grapple with words, whatever answer he gives, the meaning will be same, therefore accept it.

THEORY OF PROBABILITY
In mathematics there is a theory known as ‘Theory of Probability’. If you have two options, out of which one is right, and one is wrong, the chances that you will chose the right one is half, i.e. one out of the two will be correct. You have 50% chances of being correct. Similarly if you toss a coin the chances that your guess will be correct is 50% (1 out of 2) i.e. 1/2. If you toss a coin the second time, the chances that you will be correct in the second toss is again 50% i.e. half. But the chances that you will be correct in both the tosses is half multiplied by half (1/2 x 1/2) which is equal to 1/4 i.e. 50% of 50% which is equal to 25%. If you toss a coin the third time, chances that you will be correct all three times is (1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2) that is 1/8 or 50% of 50% of 50% that is 12½%.
A dice has got six sides. If you throw a dice and guess any number between 1 to 6, the chances that your guess will be correct is 1/6. If you throw the dice the second time, the chances that your guess will be correct in both the throws is (1/6 x 1/6) which is equal to 1/36. If you throw the dice the third time, the chances that all your three guesses are correct is (1/6 x 1/6 x 1/6) is equal to 1/216 that is less than 0.5 %.
Let us apply this theory of probability to the Qur’an, and assume that a person has guessed all the information that is mentioned in the Qur’an which was unknown at that time. Let us discuss the probability of all the guesses being simultaneously correct.
At the time when the Qur’an was revealed, people thought the world was flat, there are several other options for the shape of the earth. It could be triangular, it could be quadrangular, pentagonal, hexagonal, heptagonal, octagonal, spherical, etc. Lets assume there are about 30 different options for the shape of the earth. The Qur’an rightly says it is spherical, if it was a guess the chances of the guess being correct is 1/30.
The light of the moon can be its own light or a reflected light. The Qur’an rightly says it is a reflected light. If it is a guess, the chances that it will be correct is 1/2 and the probability that both the guesses i.e the earth is spherical and the light of the moon is reflected light is 1/30 x 1/2 = 1/60.
Further, the Qur’an also mentions every living thing is made of water. Every living thing can be made up of either wood, stone, copper, aluminum, steel, silver, gold, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, oil, water, cement, concrete, etc. The options are say about 10,000. The Qur’an rightly says that everything is made up of water. If it is a guess, the chances that it will be correct is 1/10,000 and the probability of all the three guesses i.e. the earth is spherical, light of moon is reflected light and everything is created from water being correct is 1/30 x 1/2 x 1/10,000 = 1/60,000 which is equal to about .0017%.
The Qur’an speaks about hundreds of things that were not known to men at the time of its revelation. Only in three options the result is .0017%. I leave it upto you, to work out the probability if all the hundreds of the unknown facts were guesses, the chances of all of them being correct guesses simultaneously and there being not a single wrong guess. It is beyond human capacity to make all correct guesses without a single mistake, which itself is sufficient to prove to a logical person that the origin of the Qur’an is Divine.
CREATOR IS THE AUTHOR OF THE QUR’AN
The only logical answer to the question as to who could have mentioned all these scientific facts 1400 years ago before they were discovered, is exactly the same answer initially given by the atheist or any person, to the question who will be the first person who will be able to tell the mechanism of the unknown object. It is the ‘CREATOR’, the producer, the Manufacturer of the whole universe and its contents. In the English language He is ‘God’, or more appropriate in the Arabic language, ‘ALLAH’.
QUR’AN IS A BOOK OF SIGNS AND NOT SCIENCE
Let me remind you that the Qur’an is not a book of Science, ‘S-C-I-E-N-C-E’ but a book of Signs ‘S-I-G-N-S’ i.e. a book of ayaats. The Qur’an contains more than 6,000 ayaats, i.e. ‘signs’, out of which more than a thousand speak about Science. I am not trying to prove that the Qur’an is the word of God using scientific knowledge as a yard stick because any yardstick is supposed to be more superior than what is being checked or verified. For us Muslims the Qur’an is the Furqan i.e. criteria to judge right from wrong and the ultimate yardstick which is more superior to scientific knowledge.
But for an educated man who is an atheist, scientific knowledge is the ultimate test which he believes in. We do know that science many a times takes ‘U’ turns, therefore I have restricted the examples only to scientific facts which have sufficient proof and evidence and not scientific theories based on assumptions. Using the ultimate yardstick of the atheist, I am trying to prove to him that the Qur’an is the word of God and it contains the scientific knowledge which is his yardstick which was discovered recently, while the Qur’an was revealed 1400 year ago. At the end of the discussion, we both come to the same conclusion that God though superior to science, is not incompatible with it.
SCIENCE IS ELIMINATING MODELS OF GOD BUT NOT GOD
Francis Bacon, the famous philosopher, has rightly said that a little knowledge of science makes man an atheist, but an in-depth study of science makes him a believer in God. Scientists today are eliminating models of God, but they are not eliminating God. If you translate this into Arabic, it is La illaha illal la, There is no god, (god with a small ‘g’ that is fake god) but God (with a capital ‘G’).
Surah Fussilat:
"Soon We will show them our signs in the (farthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things?"
[Al-Quran 41:53]

Ghanaians are failing to accept the fact that all religion are based on falsehood, and an attempt by advocates to seek power and extend their influence over the vulnerable in this world.
We must be lucky that by virtue of the law of natural selection, we were born in Ghana, far away from Maiduguri in northern Nigeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, etc.
For this reason we are peaceful, have no links with and cannot genuinely be members of Boko Haram, Al Qaeda, Taliban, etc.
Be pleased that the chances of us being associated with any of the above groups is statically zero because our umbilical cords were cut far away from the above hot spots.

In Surat Al-Rahman (Chapter 55), Verse 33 states, we read:***
O You jinn and men, if you can penetrate zones of the heavens and the Earth, then penetrate! You will never penetrate them except with (the) power (of science).
The Holy Quran tells us that there is intelligent life in outer space, where Allah (Praise to Him) is also worshipped and glorified.
In Chapter 30, Verse 26, Allah (Praise to Him) says:
To Him belongs whom are in the heavens and the Earth, all are devoutly obedient to Him.
In Chapter 3, Verse 83, Allah (Praise to Him) also tells us about life in outer space saying:
Do they want other than the Religion of Allah? While (all) who are in the heavens and the Earth have willingly, or unwillingly, submitted to Him (as Muslims do), and to Him shall they be returned.
In Chapter 19, Verse 93-95, Allah (Praise to Him) also says:
There is none in the heavens and the Earth but comes (on the Day of Judgment) to the Beneficent (Allah) as a (helpless) slave.
He does take an account of them, and has counted them exactly.
And all of them (are coming to Him) on the Day of Resurrection individually (alone) (Maryam, 19: 92-95).
In Chapter 24, Verse 41, Allah (Praise to Him) also says:
Dont you see that Allah is praised by whoever is in the heavens and the Earth, and (that) the birds are flying in lines? Each (category of creatures) knows its own prayer and praise. And Allah knows what they do.
Earth is described as egg-shaped (not a perfect circular globe), a fact which was discovered recently in the human history.
In Chapter 79, Verse 30, the Holy Quran mentions that:
And the Earth, after that, He made it egg-shaped.
In Verses 68-69, we are told that it is the female bee that makes honey, a very recent bit of knowledge for humans. We know now that male bees die after mating with the queen and live only for about 90 days. Only female bees survive to be the workers, which gather nectar and make honey. This bit of knowledge could never be known to humans before the invention and use of microscopes. It is another piece of evidence that the author of the Holy Quran could never be a human being about 1428 years ago. Rather, He is the All Knowledgeable One.
And your Lord inspired the female bees to take (build) its houses (hives) on mountains, trees, and in (people's) gardens
Then (you female bee) eat from all the fruits and (you female bee) follow the ways of your Lord laid down (for you). There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing (cure) for people. In that, (there) is a sign for a people who give thought (Al-Na'hl, 16: 68-69).

The Holy Qur'an also provides us with an accurate description of deep waters in the ocean, where darkness prevails. Nobody could dive deep enough in the ocean 1428 years ago and come back to tell about what he saw there. Only the One who has created Earth and its oceans could know. For us, Philippe Causteau and his crew showed us some videos about only some parts of the ocean depth, in the 1980s.
In Chapter 24, Verse 40 of the Holy Quran, Allah (Praise to Him) says:
Or (the Unbelievers' state) is like layers of darkness in a vast deep ocean overwhelmed with waves topped by waves, topped by clouds: Layers of darkness, one above another, if a man stretches out his hand, he can hardly see it! For anyone to whom Allah does not make light, he has no light (Al-Noor, 24: 40).
In Chapter 24, Verse 43 of the Holy Quran, Allah (Praise to Him) vividly describes the water cycle, from winds to clouds, then to rain. He says:
Do not you see that Allah makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap? Then, you will see rain coming out of it. And He sends down hail from the sky mountains (of clouds). He strikes with it whom He wills and He turns it away from whom He wills. The vivid flash of its lightning is close to blinding the sights (of people). (Al-Noor, 24: 43).

The Islamic scripture mentions the fact that the universe was created within 6 LONG PERIODS
The precision of the roundness of the earth, the distance of the moon from the earth, continental drift, the distance of the sun from the earth, the proportion of chemicals in the atmosphere, the earth’s gravitational pool ... all this factors mentioned above appeared to have been fine tuned to support life on planet earth. Because the slightest variation from this values would have NOT supported life on earth!!!! THE EVOLUTION SEEMS TO BE PURPOSE DRIVEN, or for lack of words a SMART evolution rather than the BLIND or CHANCE evolution preached by atheist or Darwinist.

With careful observation of the gears and moving parts and the intricate nature of the design, and you marvel about the design and you ask WHO designed this marvellous piece... This same person comes across a complex human cell with an almost miraculous functioning system and claims or calls it a product of chance; it just came about by probability or chance from a genetic ‘soup’ billions of years ago???

If I say that there are no X/Gamma rays because I cannot see them, does that mean that they do not exist? Human beings create virtual objects from words/codes. Did those objects just evolve? From what do we create them? Can we create as many of them as we want? We are creating virtual objects from "nothing" physical as long as we have the right medium. God is a spirit and human beings are made of matter (physical). We impose limitations on our virtual objects - their capabilities go as far as we allow them.

If you do not know that evolution is fact I am here to tell you it is! Evolution is why you have to go for the flu shot regularly, it is why there are frequent resistant steains of tuberculosis hence the need to get more effective drugs because they evolve to become tolerant to the existing treatment. Evolution is the reason why you have the same genes that code for glucose metabolism as the plants you see, yes you have a common ancestors with the plants hence the presence of similar genes coding for sugar metabolism. If evolution weren't true then how do you explain the commonalities between all living things. We all share the same molecule that dictates how life proceeds on this planet and evolution is the answer. Without evolution the science of life cannot be explained.
It saddens me to see supposed science teachers leading the people astray. Please understand what you teach,how do you teach others if you do not know what you are teaching?

He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
Isaiah is actually describing the Earth as flat and circular, with a dome-shaped tent (sky) covering the land.
As we all know, the Earth is not a circle but a sphere, and if Isaiah wanted to call it a sphere, he could have easily done so because earlier he states that God will “roll you up tightly like a ball and throw you into another country” (Isaiah 22:18).
Furthermore, the “flat pancake” Hebrew word for “circle” is described elsewhere in Job 26:10 and Proverbs 8:27, although the NIV substitutes the word “circle” for “horizon.”

Your disbelief in a "Creator" is base on theorem, thesis and experiments carried out following the existing cosmic rules (gravity, electromagnetism, polarity, etc). Cosmologists, Astrophysicist, Bio-chemical engineers, conduct their experiment specific expectations BECAUSE they know certain elements (atoms, molecules) follows a specific pattern/rule/behaviour under certain conditions.

Has Nasa's Kepler space observatory yet found another habitable planet like earth within our own Milkyway galaxy any other galaxy?

To me the universe is an expression of intelligence beyond our imagination, that we perpetually stand in awe of its marvellous revelations via science.
No religion nor encyclopaedia of superstition called holy book of any religion revealed even the surface of the intelligence expressed in the universe. Only science did that.
What shocks me most is the person, the religious sycophant, especially Christians who not only believed that the bible is a word of god, but expect all of us to agree with them that the Creator that expresses such intelligence in the universe is the same as the one that wrote/inspired the bible; the encyclopaedia of superstition and outright ignorance of the content of the universe and how it even works.
Any Being capable of intelligence to create the universe equally posses the intelligence to write a manual that match the intelligence expressed in the universe itself. The manual of any human machine, being car, computer, microoven among others tells us not only the various parts of the come together to work. But more importantly, it tells us the intelligence of the manufacturer.
The Bible, Quran among others books that were claimed to be written/inspired by the Creator of this expression of intelligence called Universe, tells us not even the constitution of earth an how it even works.
So what is difference between two people who saw intelligence in the universe with one denying the existence of Creator, and the other will only believe in the existence of a such Creator by first believing that that Creator wrote/inspired the Bible or Quran or any other acclaimed holy book?

Studying the Bible is a painstaking thing. It is easy to get hold of a Magazine, Brochure or Newspaper to read without difficulty, the Bible reading requires discipline and prayers.
In my reading of the WORD, I always want to commune with Holy Spirit to open my understanding to the WORD!
Even if I am so familiar with the verse, I still want to respectfully ask that the Spirit of God will throw more Light on the understanding of his WORD.
It is also a good thing to thank the Lord for the opportunity and privilege of having the Bible to read his WORD.
I have benefited tremendously, by doing so. The Bible talks about the unsearchable riches of Christ Jesus. Remember, Jesus Christ did say, Holy Spirit would not speak of himself, but would speak of HIM,Christ Jesus.
I beg of you to recognize that Satan/demons exist, and their ways are very cunning. In the Book of Revelation, the Devil is described as the one who deceives the entire inhabited Earth.
Satan's purpose is to kill, steal and destroy. If Satan can steal part of God's WORD and 'hybridize' it with falsehood, he will do so to DECEIVE many, and he has succeeded in doing that, because many have not equipped themselves with the knowledge of God.
It is not the Truth that set us free, but a KNOWLEDGE of it. And for the individual, who does not believe, at all, he has already become a meat in the jaws of the enemy, and it is only Christ who can snatch/redeem that one from the enemy, provided that individual so wishes, for God is able to save to the uttermost, they that come to him through Christ Jesus.
It is obvious to me that your Faith was not founded in Christ. It is one thing being brought up in a Christian environment and it is another thing receiving Christ, as your Lord and Personal Savior, as a result of godly sorrow, through the convicting power of the Holy Spirit
Jesus says, the world do not belief in HIM, and the Holy Spirit will convict them of Sin, Righteousness, and Judgement.
Do not be so fascinated about the sayings of men. True Science is in harmony with the Scriptures. However, the ignorance of many has deluded them into not giving Glory for many discoveries.
I have met many agnostics, and others from various religious groups, and often it is the case that they have been too dull or lazy in arming themselves with the Truth, so Satan has taken opportunity of their ignorance or negligence.
There are a lot very good Christian books in the Church Libraries, that you can rely on. Also, anytime you receive a religious material, take time to read it prayerfully,always cross checking what the Scriptures says.
I encourage you to attend a living Pentecostal /Evangelical Church. Also look for Fellowship/Small group meetings to enable you grow in the Lord!
The Bible is more than an academic book. It is a book of Life. It contents touches on many disciplines such as History, Poetry and Litt., Agriculture, Political Science, Geography, Language, Health Science, Astronomy, Mathematics, Archeology, Music,Law, etc. Emphatically, it is a book of Life.
God has given us Life, and that Life is in Christ Jesus. I challenge you to equip yourself with a the WORD, for it a sword to ward of any argument by the enemy. Do

Christ HIMSELF who is the author of Life acknowledged the Truthfulness of the Scriptures, read from the passages, quoted from the inspired writings by the Prophets, and even ascribed the writings to HIMSELF.
Infact, Jesus Christ is the WORD of God, and he therefore came in the volume of the Scriptures written about him.
Therefore, if someone is ignorant about the Scriptures and therefore has allowed himself to be deceived, by the cunning devices of men or the worldly ideologies of the world,that individual needs to made whole in the knowledge of the WORD; he needs to do his homework very well.
The Scriptures demolishes arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and takes captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ(2nd Corinth 10:5)
It is an indisputable fact that the nations had their gods, and alienated from God. The Prophet Ezekiel warned the Jews to do away with idolatry, and reminded them of how God brought Abraham, their forefathers out of his household of idolatry and covenanted with him.
See also Jeremiah 44, warning the Jewish remnants in Egypt. This just a few examples about how the Prophets(Jewish) of God continuously warned the Jews against the influences of idolatry by nations even up till today.
All these have been written down for our instructions, so that we may not live in the unprofitableness (reprobate) of our minds.
The NT warns us that, gone were the days that God forgave people, in their ignorance. Now, we have the writings and are all (each of the books in the Bible) made available at ease. Hence, there is no excuse for man. Infact, the Gospel is not hidden, except unto those that are perishing!
A serious and conscious effort has to be made by the individual to investigate and scrutinize the writings, for your own good. The Scriptures, even, encourages us to do so, because we are to be sure of all things!

That is why, a little girl in a village could hold on to her Faith through the knowledge of God and prayers, her spirit bearing witness to Holy Spirit that she is a child of God, yet the worldly wise struggle to come to terms with the Truth.
Was it not a little Jewish girl who suggested to the mistress that if the master(Neymann, a Syrian army chief) were to be in Israel, the Prophet could have healed him?
Neymann, acknowledged that indeed the God of Israel was and is the True God, after he was miraculously healed by the said Prophet!
Salvation in Christ is NOT a blind Faith, at all.
The Gospel is being preached to all corners of the earth as a witness to the nations, and the end will come.

You can choose to sit down unconcerned and allow yourself to be deceived by men who are themselves ignorant, or you can take a stand by virtue of the knowledge of God.
