A leopard can never change the colour of its skin. Remember Nana Akufo Addo before 2008 general elections was already behaving presidential by visiting neighbouring countries of Burkina Faso, Togo, Code D'Ivore and also issuing presidential statements as a president in-waiting. This Akufo Addo man better be adviced to control his arrogance and stop digging trenches he'll eventually fall into along the way of next elections. He is though free to issue whatever messages to whoever he chooses but Ghanaians are waiting to pay him back for his arrogance at the polls in 2016.

I know our system is not perfect and we need improvements, but I also know for a fact we cannot compare the amount of systemic corruption that exists in Ghana to that of India. What Akuffo Addo is missing is the historical fact that when people stay too long in power and accrue a carapace of corruption, greed, hubris, grandiloquence ,arrogance, pelf etc. the tsunami that sweeps them out of power has nothing to do with fairness at the pools especially in a place like India. I think Akuffo Addo and others should focus some of their attention on the removal of the "Colossus" Afari Djan. The guy has so much animosity surrounding him that Ghana will be better without him steering the affairs of the Electoral Commission.

The irony in all of this is that those complaining bitterly about the way our elections are conducted,have won back-to-back ballots under the auspices of the same Electoral Commission we have in this country.
I am pretty sure if the electoral systems now being highly touted were put to use and these people lost,they would still complain.
