Many govt organisations should have their departments headquatred out of Accra to other regional offices. Businesses can do similar. Concentration of everything in Accra is a waste; it creates corruption and reduces efficiency.

If for even communication companies boast of technology, why for everything in say vodafon is centred in Accra. They have the capacity of building infrastructures in all regions. Their customer services department can be in Wa, while their accounts be in Sunyani etc.

As person who could afford to pay $400 per day for the facility why didn't he offer to pay for himself instead of relying on the Ghanaian tax payer to pick up his bill. These greedy people have a mentality of children.That is that the parent must always look after them. Ghana must not and should not act as parents for people who can afford to look after themselves.Please send him the bill.
Regarding the just ended Economic Forum I see some people are hailing it as success without waiting to read the official report.
I like to suggest that we hold our judgement a bit until we have answers to the following questions:
1. Where are the tough anti corruption laws that would ensure that those corrupt officials and politicians can no longer act with impunity
2 When will the government close the loopholes in the taxation system which are exploited by foreign owned companies and their local acolytes to over invoice and thus deny the Ghanaian economy millions of cedis each year in lost revenue.
3 Where are the laws that would check official expenditure and insist on budgetary discipline
4 What are the mechanisms which would bring in tough penalties against those who flout official procurement procedures?
Sadly I am not holding my breath for any improvement in the economy in the foreseeable future . In the meantime send Mr Cudjoe his bill for the stay his favourite hotel.
