first law of economics is supply and demand , second is never produce anything if there is no market for it . we have the market so we can industrialize sooner or later , hand it over freely to the Europeans no matter how well packaged and the future of our children are doomed. i dont see the Europeans offering the other benefits such as the freedom of movement and insisting on visa free entry into their countries. they are not offering half a trillion for infrastructural development and real assistance in bettering the standard of the people of west Africa . this is a war that will destroy any chances of self reliance and self development . see what they have done to our poultry , fish and beef industry . until we have people who understand the issues and the true hidden agendas and dangers of such a one sided agreement where the benefits are only for the Europeans we should not engage in any such devastating experiments . EPA is being pushed now because they are aware pepeni is an illigimate president , even now the video of the murder of atta mills is being circulted in private circles and one day soon he will be overthrown so he is rushing to put another yoke and burden on the people of Akan. this govt can only borrow and can not even secure investments of 30 billion dollars how do they expect to handle a multitrillion agreement which in reality denies your own people the right to develop their own industry. our industrial base is less than 3% by the way. lets not allow this foolishness to pass ,

I dont understand why Ghana should even be contemplating GM crops.
We have fertile land and there is nothing wrong with crops previously cultivated by our fathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers and so on.

The Ghanaian people are simply saying NO TO GM CROPS, but the Govt is not listening.
The GOVT has two choices.
TO CONTINUE TO REPRESENT OVERSEAS MULTI NATIONAL COMPANIES OR
LOOK AFTER ITS OWN PEOPLE.
If I were in Govt, I know which way I would be going

What the government have done through use of media (like this) is USE propaganda to create hatred between people, so while we are at each others throats the world governments are getting RICHER, while they STEAL money, and property from the people, they have a 10, 000 square foot building in the Antarctic FILLED with Heirloom seeds, They are ENSURING they will have proper foods while the feed the lower classes with POISONS, GMO.

Even here in the UK I don't buy non organic foods. This is serious. My family and I are definitely travelling to Ghana to vote Mahama out of office!!!! Too much rot, irresponsibility. Aaha. This issue is about life and death, our health and the health of our future generations to come and this Wicked NDC govt does not want to listen? Too much anger is being stirred here.

There can never be anything made or produced without a little side effect.Those who are making noise are just IGNORANT.The medicines that we use for instance,some have wee in little quantities.The manufacturer needed it in order to make it effective for curing the targeted diseases.
The naturally grown foods.Too much of it is bad for the body.Carrot is good for you but too much in the body becomes toxic.And so is orange juice.
Caffeine prevents the absorption of vitamin A if you drink it even within one hour after eating.
Tomato is good for prostrate cancer, but too much of it gives arthritis.
Has genetically modified foods kill anybody?Please give it a chance.
