So cant we invest the money to create more wealth and job and give them the dividend?You did similar things in 2012 and the consequences is what happening to our economy right now. Can't we think for once and stay away from our old ways of doing things Mr. President? At least we could even engage them in heroes campaign in every region to raise some awareness of our dwindling local league. In doing so we keep active and healthy whiles they benefit from the same money. As you just called it "a token", how long will they live on it. it might even create a problems for them in their families. Please, lets think out of the box for a while and desist from this old way of doing things

However, it is too little and too late. Too little compared to what good players earn today in their careers. Too late because it is coming only after the issue of supposed curses had been harped up. BESIDE, THE LIVING FORMER PLAYERS BE GIVEN ACCESS TO FREE MEDICAL SERVICES AND ALL NECESSARY MEDICAL COVERAGES TO VISIT ALL HOSPITALS WITHOUT CHARGES.
