Upon all the huge sum of monies potag takes @ the end of every month they are still demanding for book and research allowance.. They are behaving as if they don't sell the books to us each semester.. They must think twice.

the government ensured us of a better educational system and just now, she can't even pay lecturers' allowance. This is too bad!President Mahama, please heed to the lecturers' demand for the sake of the students.

These lecturers are talking as if they conduct or have conducted any meaningful research. I was once a tertiary student and we the students did our own research without any meaningful input by the so called lecturers. Only 1% ...

These lecturers are talking as if they conduct or have conducted any meaningful research. I was once a tertiary student and we the students did our own research without any meaningful input by the so called lecturers. Only 1% of all lecturers in Ghana conduct meaningful research the other 99% only plagiarize existing research and claim it as their own. In any academic institution or country of excellence, the lecturer must apply for funds to conduct research; it's not like transferring money to your bank account with nothing to show for. These lecturers know this but want to take advantage of our mediocrity. I was a graduate student abroad and my sponsorship was based on research works; no research work, no funding.

Let's learn to be civil as we contribute to discussions on the on-going POTAG strike. I plead with POTAG to go back to the classroom whilst govt finds a solution to their problem. Politicians should learn to be civil in their utterances concerning striking workers.
