This should be stopped at the entry points, though it is good for the general public to be notified for awareness, though without a shut down date of legitimate factory, how do we do a proper check?

A couple of months ago I was shopping at Koala, and to my utmost disgust I recognized that all the Exeter brands of corned beef had been meticulously replaced with a shabby labeled Akan Corned Beff, named OBAAYAA. I wasn't much surprised since I had observed over the years that some local labeling company must have been intercepting imported items and re-branding them with this OBAAYAA labels. What I find very dangerous is the food contamination phase. We do not know how to process food under extreme hygienic conditions. Let us not fool ourselves into thinking buying local is a good thing. You will bear the consequences of early death, or medical expense in curing the incurable.

Please never trust a Ghanaian Institution such as the FDA - do your own investigation.

The FDA did not tell us what they found on testing. They told us what they had been "reliably informed". This is lazy work, the standard only found in Ghana!

I happend to challange a shopkeper in Accra once and even showed one of the original ones I brougt from America to them to see the diffirence but they insist it is gennue. When you open the one purpoted to come from Argentina, it's like dog shit. So I'm supprised the authorities has now got to know this. Where have they been since it has been in the market for so long. Where were the Ghana Standard Board? Since I found that I have never bought that shit.
